Love bubbles...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am thinking about how we hurt each other. The thing is, most of the time when I have gotten hurt, I have given the power to that person to hurt me. Not always. Especially as a child when I did not have the power to give. But as an adult, when I have been hurt, it has been because I have allowed that person to hurt me. I gave them the power. 

When I have found a way to forgive and love that person who hurt me (which I can only do through your grace and mercy working through me), they lose the power to hurt me. They may still try but there is something in that forgiveness and truly letting go that puts me out of their range. They can't reach me with their violence. I have seen it time and time again. 

Now I am watching it in the lives of people around me that I truly love. Right now, they are all still tearing each other up. So God, I pray your grace, forgiveness and love into their lives. Over power their ability to hurt each other. Put a love buffer around them to keep them safe. I believe you are working in their lives and have a plan. In the meantime, keep them safe with your love.

What God Said Tonight:

You are looking above, behind, and to the sides. Look forward. The future is ahead of you, no where else. 

I have so many things to show you. You will see great things and great change in you and in the people around you. 

I do have a plan and it is working out even better than what I initially thought. There have been a few interesting turns that were not really a part of the original plan but which will work out perfectly. You are going to be happier, more at peace and more in your mission than you could ever imagine possible. Get ready for the day that you look in awe around you and think, "how did I get here? This is awesome!"

The hurt, the struggle, the repositioning is all a part of the new plan. It is all working for your good. For the good of my children. I have a solitary goal, to be with my kids forever. I love you and your love bubbles are on the way.

My prayer:

Happy Father's day Daddy!!!! Thank you for always taking care of me. Thank you for always teaching me. Thank you for your patience with me. Thank you for loving me no matter what! 

You are truly wonderful beyond words. My life would be completely worthless without you. 

Thank you for your promise to never leave me. 

What God Said Tonight:

I love you sweet daughter. You are mine and I am yours. You can count on our love. You can count on me. 

I am your daddy and I am so very proud of you. 

Run to me in your trouble and I will take care of it. I will defend you and I will take care of you now and forever. Rest in my arms tonight and know that my love for you can never be measured or exhausted. Sweet dreams daughter.

The voice of truth...

My prayer:

I don't have words for tonight's prayer God. I have groans and mutterings. I have dreams that go beyond words. I have desires of my heart. I give it all up to you God.You are my hope, my joy and my strength. 

What God Said Tonight:

The noise of the world is like static that never goes away. Your job, what you have to do if you are going to live the life that I have for you is to shut out the static and listen to my voice. I am speaking all of the time. I am trying to help you all of the time. It's lost sometimes in the voices of your life. 

The world has many opinions about you and about what you should do. Their thoughts and opinions are valuable but not for the purpose of you deciding which direction to go. Their voices, their opinions are good for you to understand their perceptions of you and your life. That can be valuable as you navigate in this world. What you must not do is you must not hear their voices and their opinions as truth. 

I will guide you to all truth. I won't leave anything out. Trust my voice for truth.

My prayer:

Thank you for crazy, wonderful joy tonight God!!! I don't even have a real reason. I am just SO HAPPY!! Everything seems wonderful. Thank you for your joy which is my strength!!! 

I love you God. I love that you bring me joy. I love that you work everything out. I love that you have determined a path for my life that is filled with joy and with blessings for me and everyone around me. 

Being your kid sure is fun sometimes!!!! LOVE YOU LIKE CRAZY!!!!

What God Said Tonight:

We are rejoicing with you here in heaven. Life is worthy of rejoicing. Life is worthy of joy. There is so much good in life. 

The angels are jealous of your life. They want to know what it is to live. 

Yes. there are many times when life is difficult. But, when  you look, when you focus on me, when  you allow me in, you can see the great joy that there is in life. That is what I intended in the beginning. The joy of life. There is so much beauty and joy around you every day but you so often allow the evil to drown it out, to obscure your vision of it. 

Tonight, you are seeing the joy, you are experiencing the joy that I intended from the beginning of time for you. 

I love you. I celebrate with you. All of heaven is with you in celebration tonight my sweet girl.

My prayer:

I know you say all the time that you can use anybody. That you don't need perfect people,  you just need willing people. And I know that more tonight than ever. 

I know how incredibly imperfect I am and yet you use me all the time to bless and help and show you to people. 

Thank you. I know you don't have to use me, I know you don't need me, but I am very grateful that you find a way for me to be a part of what you are doing. It is the most meaningful thing in my life. 

What God Said Tonight:

You will soar on wings of eagles. You will triumph over evil. You will be victorious in every area of your life. 

You will be and do all of these things because you are my child, you are my  priest, you are my prophet. The calling on our life makes you victorious in every situation. Even when it seems like a failure, I will turn it to your good so that in the end, you have the victory. 

I have a way of changing the outcome. I don't always change the situation but I can change the result and I will always change the results to be in your favor. You have a stacked deck with me. You  are a child of the King. 

It looks hard now, but don't worry, I have everything under control.

Love makes the difference...

My prayer:

Thank you for your help today God. Sometimes situations come to a real head and either you show up or we don't survive it. You showed up. You always show up and I am forever grateful. 

What God Said Tonight:

I am here. I am always here. I have yet to see the day when I did not know what to do or I did not win. Sometimes the winning takes great sacrifice. Sometimes seeing the change is harder than you expect. I will always help though. I will never leave you. I will not stay silent in the midst of your tragedy. 

I am your protector and provider. I am your healer. I am your Father. I do not take those things lightly. I am very serious about who I am to you and who you are to me. 

But today, you did the one thing that I ask of you. You loved. and that made all the difference. Love makes way for you and those around you. Love heals. Love restores. Love is the power behind it all. Keep loving.

Good vs. Evil...

My prayer:

Thank you God for your provision in D & D's life today! You know how much I wanted to help financially in that situation but I can see now why you had me hold back. You had a different plan. Thank you for letting me a blessing to at least one person today. 

When I look at myself, I realize that I have the capacity for great good within me and the capacity for great evil. Each day I try to let out the good and hold back the evil. Will there ever be a day where the evil is not there at all? I hate it when I hurt people but I also hate to be hurt. Can we survive in this world with only good in us? 

Just the wandering thoughts of your daughter flowing out tonight God. Love you, love who are in me, love who you are in the world, love who you have made me to be. 

What God Said Tonight:

I have created you for great good. 

You seem to think that good is somehow related to weakness. It is not. Good is more powerful than evil. Good wins in the end every time. Evil is transitory and can quickly be destroyed. Good lasts. 

One spark of light in the darkness and the darkness is gone. One shadow in the light is barely noticed. 

Use your good, the good in you that comes from me to find your strength. Evil is only here for a very short time. It's days are clearly numbered. Hold onto good. Turn your back on evil.
