Taking authority...

My prayer:

Awesome God. We continue to try to deal with this shooting tragedy. What I am finding with myself and others around me is that we are feeling like we are not reacting "right." That we are not doing enough, that we are not helping enough, and even feeling guilty if we do normal everyday things. 

Guilt and condemnation are not from you so I have to assume they are coming from the enemy and he has gained too much ground this week. 

God I pray that you rebuke him in Jesus name. I bind him and his plans in this and cast them to the pit of hell in the name of Jesus. I declare that he cannot continue this plan to destroy us. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

That is what I was waiting to see from you daughter. My warrior daughter stepping up and taking authority. You do not have to let satan run rampant in your life. You have authority through me to take control. 

Any time that you get complacent or start to think there is nothing you can do, he wins a little. Remember who you are and the authority that I have given you and take charge. He cannot win in the end. 

I love you daughter. Stay strong in faith and in your assurance of who you are.

My prayer:

Mighty God, you have heard the prayers for comfort, for peace, for protection. You have heard the angry voices trying to understand. I thank you God that you really are the answer. Just as you said last night. Even in, or maybe especially in, the face of tragedy, you are the answer. Thank you God for bringing blessing and peace out of tragedy. Thank you for your family who is banding together to love on each other. Thank you God for giving us the strength to love our way through this time.

What God Said Tonight:

I am here. Come closer, under my wings and in my arms. Come here and let me comfort you. Come here and let me protect you. Come here and let me take care of you. 

I love you, my children, I love you so much. Let me take the pain and the anger and the hurt and let me heal you. I am your healing. I will make the wrong things right. I will heal your heart. Come to me and let me?

Problems and answers...

My prayer:

God, you are my answer. Whatever the problem, you are my answer. If I look to you, ask you, listen to you, you always give me the perfect answer. People come to me a lot to help them with problems. They think that I am smart. What they don't understand, even when I tell them over and over, it is not me with the answers. The answers all come from you. Thank you for being my answer God.

What God Said Tonight:

I am the truth and the way. I am the answer you seek. You will find peace and wisdom in me every time you look. You can count on it. I will never let you down. sometimes, I might wait a little with the answer to help you grow and learn. Sometimes, something is happening in the Spirit realm that holds up the answer. However, I will NEVER leave you in the dark indefinitely. 

You my dear daughter are the Queen of questions and I love that about you. I promise you today that one day, you will have every question answered. You will have no doubts and you will know everything you ever hoped to know. I can't give that to you today because there is more growing and more to do in the world. But someday. 

I love you daughter. Keep questioning, keep listening and keep solving those problems. 

Problems are like rocks in the road. The bigger they are the harder they are to miss and to get rid of. They are out of place and try to hinder your progression. Find a way over them, under them, around them, whatever you need to do but don't let a rock block your destiny, EVER!

My Prayer:

I am so at peace tonight God. Thank you for peace. I don't really have anything to say but thank you for everything and I love you. Life is a roller coaster but when I have your peace in me, I don't really care. Peace that passes all understanding. Not logical but VERY REAL. Thank you for your peace.

What God Said Tonight:

Nothing missing and nothing lacking. That is what I want for you and for all of my children. I want you and your lives to be complete and fulfilled with every purpose and every blessing that I have earmarked especially for you since the beginning of time. 

There is nothing that is happening, nothing that will happen that is a surprise for me. I have known it all since the beginning of time. Keep trusting me to guide you through. I love you my peaceful daughter. Hang onto that peace.

My prayer:

Thank you God! I love my new car and I have total peace about getting it. Thank you for your favor. Thank you for the opportunity to share you with the guys at the dealership. Thank you for everything!!! 

I love you so much God. What is on your mind tonight? Anything you want to talk about...I am here.

What God Said Tonight:

We are partying in heaven tonight! There were people all over the world today who chose to live for me and have been saved for eternity! 

That is what gets me excited. That is what starts a party here in heaven! Angels are singing. We are dancing. We are celebrating and calling out the names of the new brothers and sisters. Come on in and join in the party! There is nothing better than this! People who were cursed are now blessed!!! 

Keep sharing what you know about me. Keep telling people how great it is to live for me. Keep it up!! It makes all the difference in the world. It is life saving and just makes me SO HAPPY!!! I love you daughter. Keep up the good work and don't get weary. There are so many more that need to hear and understand.

Tell me what to do...

My prayer:

All knowing God, I need wisdom tonight. I need to know what the right decision is. This is a decision where this is no specific guidance from your word. I don't think there is a "right" or "wrong" choice; but if I could see how they would each turn out, I bet one decision would be better than the other. I want to make the best choice God and logic is not working. Tell me what I should do? Thank you Jesus, Father, Holy Spirit.

What God Said Tonight:

Tell you what to do? That is an unusual request coming from you. My children usually are angry when they are "told what to do" and rebel. 

The fact is I have blessed you and have given you a brain just for times  like this. You are right, there is no right or wrong decision here but there are natural consequences to your decision, most of which you can imagine. 

Make a choice on what you are willing to risk. I love you and I have provided a possibility for you that was a desire of your heart. You make the choice. 

Think of whether the result of the choice will rule you or whether you will rule it. When you have the thing you think you want, will it be a good thing for you, for your character or a bad thing? Will it bring you closer to me and who I have destined you to be or father away. Those are the important questions. 

I love you daughter and I trust you. Make the choice that is most right for you and I will pave the way.

All knowing God. You taught me so much today! THANK YOU! Thank you for the new knowledge and thank you for the reminders of things that I already knew but had forgotten. Thank you for reminding me of who I am and what I should be spending my time and effort on. I lvoe you God and I will do my best to remember and follow all that you have taught me today.

What God Said Tonight:

I am decorating you with gold my daughter. I want you to see what I am doing. I am painting you with beautiful gold designs. I have a purpose for this. It is a symbol of your station as a priest. But, it is also a natural expression of my love for you and the beauty that lives in you. 

You are precious to me. My children are all so precious to me. I will protect you and teach you. I will guide you all the days of your life. But, I will also decorate you. I will recognize you as my child in front of the world. I will make sure that they understand the privilege that comes with that recognition. 

You are beautiful and you are being covered in my gold. You will shine for the world.
