Forever love...

My prayer:

I can't believe you got me through this day God! No sleep at all last night and somehow, you got me through a long day at work and here I am still conscious. What would I do without you? How does anyone get up in the morning without you in their lives? I love you God and can't wait to hear what you have to say tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

How can you be without me since I live in you? Anyone and I mean ANYONE who wants me in their life only has to ask and I am there. 

I will never leave you. I will never not be with you. I have chosen you, you have invited me and that is forever. I don't make half way promises. When I commit to something, when I commit to someone, I am in, all in forever. There is no divorce from me. You are my precious bride and we will be together forever. 

I love your face in the morning. I love the fragrance of your spirit. I love the way you look at me when no one else is looking. I love you my child and I am with you forever. 

Stained glass...again...

My prayer:

Amazing God. Life is really good right now but I am having a hard time getting excited like I should. You are blessing the ministry, people around me, and me and I am SO grateful; but the drive, the energy, the excitement for the next new thing that usually comes so naturally for me, doesn't seem to be there. 

I don't know why. I am not depressed, I am just kind of calm, but maybe too calm? I don't know if I am just at peace or if I am missing out on fully experiencing this wonderful season that you have created for us? I don't know. 

I am always picking myself apart and now I am picking myself apart about being too much at peace...that seems stupid. Thanks for listening God, even when I don't make sense.

What God Said Tonight:

I have compared you to stained glass in the past and I will do it again because it is the best way to describe this time. 

Right now, I don't need you to be the charging force to move things forward. I need you to be the calm, still glass that reflects beauty on everything around it. I need you to be the calm sure place that people come back to as they step into things they never imagined possible. I need you to reflect my light to them in a way that is so beautiful, it takes their breath away and encourages them to go back out and do even more. I need you to be my stained glass.

My prayer:

God, you impressed me today. Thank you for showing me how you are working in so many people's lives. Thank you for answered prayers. Thank you for reconciliation and reconnection with people that I have missed so much. You are God and I am yours. I am here to do your will and tell your story. What part of the story do you want to tell tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

I have forged you out of metal and have shaped you in the fire. I have molded you into the perfect shape and the perfect tool to accomplish what we need to do today. 

The thing that I appreciate about you is that when it is time, and I put you back in the fire to reshape you, you don't resist. You willingly take on the new shape. 

I know that sometimes you wonder if the continual change in your life is a bad thing but it is not. It is just me getting to use you in new areas for my Kingdom. there are some people who are called to do one thing and that thing is something that they are the very best at. There are others, like you that I have called to fill many positions throughout time. 

You are not done changing and you are not done growing. Your shape is perfect for today but tomorrow, we may need to adjust. Know that the fire will never harm you but it will make it easier for me to shape you for the next job. I love you daughter. Stay moldable.

Amazing people...

My prayer:

Amazing and wonderful God. I worship you. I thank you. I am in awe of you and what you do. I am just crazy in love with you. I love that you still surprise me sometimes. If there is anything in me God that you want changed, let me know or just go ahead and change it. I want to be exactly who you want me to be. Nothing more and nothing less. 

Thank you for the amazing people you put in my life. Sometimes, I get to comparing myself to them and I am humbled. Their love of people is so beautiful. Their willingness to sacrifice for you is so amazing. Their willingness to risk for you is so brave. Thank you God for their example in my life and help me to grow as a result of being surrounded by them.

What God Said Tonight:

Deep calls out to deep my daughter. You are surrounded by like minded people. When you look around you and see amazing people, you can count yourself in their number. 

I love you daughter. It is ok to be humble, it is good to be humble, but don't devalue who you are. Understand that I have made each and everyone of my children as unique and amazing people. I have made you each with unique gifts and plans that are just for you. 

Appreciate the people around you but do not compare yourself to them. Comparison is a slippery slope to coveting and depression. When you look to others, appreciate what they bring and love them for it. But, remember that I have filled you with just as many, although different gifts, even if you don't always see them. You are very precious to me my love. 

Success...

My prayer:

Wow God! You worked everything out perfectly like you always do! Why do I ever worry about anything? 

Tonight was our first Prayer and Worship at the Park and it was raining like crazy, until we were supposed to start and then the sun came out. We had no idea what we were doing or how to do it and so we just put on the music and began to worship and pray and you started bringing all of those wonderfully hungry for God people to us! So many lives changed tonight God! 

Thank you for letting me be a part of it. Thank you for working it all out. YOU ARE WONDERFUL!

What God Said Tonight:

Of course I worked it all out, I called you to do it. Why would I ever ask you to do something and then not show up to make sure it worked out. That would be mean and I am not mean. 

I intend for you top succeed at everything you do. And, when you do what I have asked you to do, that is easy. 

I love you daughter. Keep following me and what I ask you to do and you will always succeed. Always.

Overwhelmed...

My prayer:

Awesome God. There are times, like today, when I look over all that needs to be done, and I think, I am ready. I am ready to be with you in heaven or ready for this season to be over and you to reign on earth with satan in the lake of fire forever. Maybe I am just lazy? Sometimes it seems like too much. 

But then, I start thinking about how much I enjoy it. When we are in it, ministering in your name, praying for people, watching you heal people, witnessing to people, loving on people, worshiping you...I LOVE IT! So then, why would I want to give up that privilege? The chance to serve you is an honor. 

How can I feel and think both of these things at nearly the same time? God give me the strength and endurance to do everything that you have for me in this life and that I live out every single day that you have planned for me. Thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

Every time you get overwhelmed, it is because you trying to do things in your own strength. 

Every time you get overwhelmed, it is because you are forgetting that I am in charge and that I will...that I have given you everything you need to accomplish everything that I have for you to do. Every time you get overwhelmed you have started making your own plans and have forgotten the easiness of following my plan. 

There is peace when you are following my plan for your life. There is balance when you are following my plan for your life. There is joy when you are following my plan for your life. I have not called you to everything but I have called you to everything that you were created to do. There is a perfect plan for your life. My perfect plan for your life. 

When you get overwhelmed, stop looking at the things that are overwhelming you and look at me. I will tell what to do and when to do it. I will lead you and guide you. Stop being anxious about tomorrow. Tomorrow will come and I will guide you. I will provide for you. Until then, enjoy now.

Now is all you really have and there are things that I have for you now. Don't miss them by getting overwhelmed by an imaginary tomorrow that I haven't even called you into. I love you. Rest in my plan for your life.

Freedom...

My prayer:

My God, your an awesome God you reign in heaven and earth, with wisdom, power and love my God you're an awesome God. You are my help and my teacher. You are my savior and my father. You are my healer and my provider. You are the one I can ALWAYS turn to. 

I am grateful for you. I am grateful to live in a place where I get to openly worship you. I am grateful for my family, my friends, my work, my home, and everything else you have provided for me. 

Thank you for the people who have fought and died so I can have the freedom that I tend to take for granted. God, bless America. Thank you!

What God Said Tonight:

I want you to hear something tonight. You must understand that the blessing of freedom is a responsibility and  can become a curse. Like any good thing, if it is not appreciated and treated with respect, it can become rotten and infect your life. 

Use your freedom wisely. use your freedom for Kingdom business, my business, while you still can. A day is coming where no one will be free of the threat of persecution for my sake. Those days are not too far off. Use this time to spread my Word as far and as much as you can. 

I love you daughter and you are always free if you have me in you. You will never be subject to true tyranny if you have the freedom of Christ in you. You will walk with me along the river of life someday and it will be glorious. The light, the air, the sounds, the smells, the animals, the people...you will love it. I love you sweet daughter.
