God gave...

My prayer:

Blessed and highly favored of the Lord...God, they always use to say that in church..."How are you?" "I am blessed and highly favored". I never paid too much attention. It sounded so "churchy" and insincere. 

What I did not understand is that being blessed and highly favored in You is a real thing! You bless everything I touch. You gave me the perfect job that fulfills me so much. You give me friends and partners that complete me in ways that would be impossible without them. You give me opportunities everyday to serve you and your people. It is all so amazing! 

I prayed for so many years for this life...well, the details were different. I thought I knew best so I prayed for some specific things. Thankfully you listened to my heart and not the specifics. You gave me what I needed to be completely satisfied. Thank you for giving me the life that would result in the joy and fullness that I as hoping for and thank you for not giving me what I thought I needed to have that life. You are awesome God and I am so grateful to you!!!

What God Said Tonight:

I gave you my heart. The rest is just icing. I have loved you since the beginning of time and I will love you through eternity. i have this great desire to pour out my love on you tonight my daughter. I want you to feel my love surround you. I want my love to be the last thing you experience today before you go to bed. I want my love to be the first thing you experience in the morning. Tomorrow morning, pay attention. I want to show you my love first thing in the morning. 

I think about you all the time. You are engraved in the palm of my hand and I will never let you down. 

You can trust me with my kids. I will never let them down. When you pray for others, pray in the confidence of my will for their lives. That is important, no more than ever.

Thank you amazing God for a wonderful day. You healed my back, I got to teach and bless people, you brought me a new client...Good stuff God!


God, I think I have been getting a little self centered lately. I notice when I look over the praise reports on What God Did Today, that most of them lately are about what you are doing for me and not about what you are doing in the lives of people around me. It makes me think that I am too focused on my needs and that I have not been focused enough on the needs of others, like I am not doing enough for the people around me. 


God, I know that you bless me so I can bless others. I don't think I have been enough of a blessing lately. I apologize God and I will try to do better. I will start focusing more on others and less on myself. I will redirect my goals to spend more time helping others and less time on my stuff.

What God Said Tonight:
The heart is what I see and what I care about. Veron said it in the message you watched. What do you do when no one is watching? The answer to that question will tell you volumes about your own heart and your own motivations. 


With me it is all about the motivations. You will never be able to do all the things that I have for you on your own and I don't expect you to. I only expect you to try because your heart is in the right place. 


Where is your heart tonight? Is it in a place where you want to bless people and see people blessed? Or are you focused on what you are going to get next? When you wake up, are your first thought about fulfilling your won needs or is your first thought about helping someone else out. 


Discern your own heart and then find ways to correct where it is not right. where it doesn't love in truth. You can change your heart. It happens all the time. You hear people say it, "I have had a change of heart..." 


I love you daughter and I love your heart. Protect it, it has a lot of loving left to do. 

Hitting bottom...

My prayer:
My God, I am worried about the people who are at the end of their rope tonight. Good, amazing, and wonderful people who know you and love you and are having trouble having the strength and the hope to go on. God, sometimes this life is so hard. Sometimes, it does not seem worth it. 


I say that it does not "seem" worth it because, fact is, when I am that down, if I give it a little time, I see the amazing wonder of life with you. I see the purpose. I see the value and the preciousness that this life is. But, sometimes it is hard to hold on in the "valleys" in the dark times, long enough to see the light that you have for us. 


God, I pray that you continue to bring people around me to encourage me when I am down. I pray God that you help me to be that encouragement to other people. God I pray and ask that you make me sensitive to when people are at that point and then give me the words and the actions that will bring your comfort and your hope to them. 


What God Said Tonight:
You have yet to see what I can do in the face of tragedy. I do my best work when there is no hope. I do my best work when people are at the end of their rope and without hope. Those are the times that I can really get close to my people. Those are the moments they are most likely to let me.in. 


Don't get me wrong. I hate tragedy and pain. I hate to see my children suffer. 


But I love that I get to be their way out. I love the closeness that can come out of it. I am hope and light and I will come to the rescue of anyone who asks. I will come and provide a way out to all those who ask. I am here, ready and waiting to be your answer, your hope. I am here waiting. 


I love you daughter. Keep living a life that is an example of hope so people know who to call when they hit bottom. I am ready.

Peace and trust...

My prayer:

What an awesome day of rest and of peace God. No demands, no worries, no pressure. Thank you God for giving me rest. Thank you for the challenges you give me. Thank you for the gifts you give me to meet the challenges and thank you that you always give me rest when the challenge is done. 

God, you always give me everything I need. "Grateful" and "Thank you" are just words and they seem so little in the face of all that you have done and all that you do. I love you God and I am beyond grateful for you in my life. 

I ask God that you help me to be super productive tomorrow to get all the things done that I did not do today. Show me each thing that you want me to do, when you want me to do it. Thank you God!

I am your peace. Come and rest in me and I will give you peace. When you see and recognize that I am in charge and that I really will take care of you and all of your needs all the days of your life, when you really believe that, there is no fear, no worry, no stress that can bother you. 

Do you want to live a stress free life? It is completely attainable. It is completely possible and all you have to do is trust me as much as you say you do. All you have to do is trust me to be me. i will always bless you and I will always provide a way out for you.

 I love you. I want the best for you. I want you to be blessed and happy. I want you to be completely fulfilled and healthy. I want you to be all that I created you to be. 

Trust me, trust my motives and live in the peace that it brings.

My prayer:
My God, I have delayed this time with you tonight because I am disappointed and I don't know what to say. 


I really thought you were going to keep the miracles coming with our team, but we lost and we are out. I don't care about the game itself but each time you caused us to win, more and more people were paying attention to you. Or, at least it seemed that way. Over 90,000 people liked a scripture post on FB from Tim Tebow tonight. I mean, WOW! 


So, I am disappointed and confused. I don't see how this loss furthers your Kingdom or spreads your word. Suddenly it is just football again. 


OK, I am done whining. The fact is, you can use and do anything and if you wanted to continue to spread your word that way, you would of. Who am I to second guess you? God, if it is possible, I would love to see the and understand how you will use this to spread your word. I ask God that you help me to see that  even in this, you can reach people. Maybe that was part of it. Maybe it got to be too much about football and not enough about you? I don't know but I know that I love you and I trust you God.


What God Said Tonight:
Sometimes you have to look at what isn't there to see the true picture of what is there. Sometimes the background is as important as the foreground. 


I am still in charge and I will be here forever. I love you daughter and while things did not turn out like you hoped, they are just as i intended. See the whole picture and you will get the clarity you are looking for.

Incredible God, Father, teacher, and love of my life. 


How was your day? Did you get blessed today God? Did you get to do anything fun? Did we worship you in spirit and in truth. Did we share your love with each other and with you? 


God, I hope your day was the best ever. I hope that you are blessed more than you are "cursed." I hope that your will is accomplished throughout the world. I love you God and I want only good things for you.

What God Said Tonight:
I love you daughter and I will give you rest tonight that will restore you. Your path the last couple of days has not been easy but it has been good. You will use the things you were reminded of throughout your entire life and beyond. Everything you learn in this life is one step up in eternity. 


Every thing you learn today is blessing to those you know tomorrow. There are so many people hurting in the world today. They need your help. They need my help through you. They need my love through you. They need my wisdom through you. 


I will always teach, love and bless you but it is never meant for you to hold onto. It is all meat to be shared. Don't hold back. When I teach you something, tell EVERYONE. It is a lot like a viral video. That is how we are going to get my word to every creature on earth. That is how we are going to fulfill the prophecy. Same concept. 


If you share me with everyone you know and they share me with everyone they know and so on, before long, we will have reached every last person across the world. You don't have to reach every person  personally but you have to do you part. You have to share. Don't be stingy with what I give you. Share it everywhere you go.
