Rivers of light...

My prayer:
My great teacher and provider. God you are so perfect. We are so imperfect but you are so perfect. We get things wrong more times than not, but you always get it right. 


God, I am just sitting in your presence tonight. It is hard to type. There are no words really for this. Your presence is beyond description. When people ask how I can believe in a God I don't see, this, tonight is the answer; but, it is so indescribable, it isn't an answer that would make sense to them. 


God I pray that your presence be felt throughout the world tonight. I pray God that every person who has ever doubted or been unsure of you and who you are, have a personal experience of your presence tonight. Let your presence blanket us tonight God. I bathe in your presence tonight God. Thank you so much for this gift of time with you. 


What God Said Tonight:
I am here for a purpose tonight. My anointing and presence is here for a purpose and a plan. It is time to cover to respond to every prayer request you have been making. Every prayer of healing, every prayer of provision, every prayer for guidance, I am here, now to respond and to make certain that every last one is addressed. 


I am always with you but know that when you sense my presence and my power like you do tonight, that is because I have some work to do. I am going out through the channel to heaven that your prayers created and I am taking care of each one right now. Can you picture it. See the rivers of light that are coming from heaven and reaching out around the world. Do you see? Those rivers can flow because people like you pray. 


There is a purpose in prayer. Yes, it is a time for us to know each other and better understand each other. It is also a time where you, my sons and daughters, have an an opportunity to intercede for others. When you pray those prayers, it opens an avenue for me to work in the situation. Don't underestimate your role in prayer. Don't underestimate the power. 


I hear every single prayer of yours. I am always listening to hear your voice. I know you don't always see the change immediately. Sometimes I need you to use your faith and grow your faith. Other times, the timing is just wrong. There are other things that may need to happen first. 


Trust me to know the best and most beneficial answer to every prayer. Know that I listen to each one personally. Know that I sit in anticipation waiting to hear your next prayer. I love you daughter. Keep praying.

Control...

My prayer:

King of all kings, Lord of all lords, God, my God. You are so incredible. I continue to be amazed at how, when I get out of the way, you work everything out so beautifully. When I stop trying to take control and let you do what you want to do, everything is so easy and it works out so beautifully, and people's lives are truly changed. 

Why is it so hard for me to learn that I not only don't need to be in control of everything but that me trying to be in control makes everything worse. It is when I surrender control to you that everything works out. 

That seems like a lesson that I am continually learning God. It seems like a daily lesson, a daily choice. Each day, and sometimes each minute, I have to decide that you know what you are doing and surrender to your control. 

My God, I choose to surrender to you. I love you God. Thank you for always having the right plan.

What God Said Tonight:

You are a walking miracle. You are a walking testimony of my power on this earth. 

Your surrender opens the door to my power. Your surrender opens the possibilities for miracles. As long as you keep control, you can only do and accomplish what you can do and accomplish as a human being. When you surrender that control to me, now we can do anything. 

I have no limit to what I can do. I have no limit for what I will do for you. Releasing your control to me makes the impossible possible. Every time you try to take control back, you limit the possibilities. Leave the control in my hands and you will witness the impossible before your very eyes on a regular basis. 

God's road map...

My prayer:
Mighty and amazing God. I am so grateful tonight for the people you have put in my life. I am so grateful that you taught me how important relationships are. I am so grateful that you didn't let me stay in that comfortable but very lonely cave that I lived in for so many years! 


I am consistently blown away by how much better, richer, fuller my life is now that you taught me how to value people and relationships. It is a completely different life. It is a completely better life. 


There are times in life when things feel so "right" that I say, "Yes, THIS is what I was made for." Tonight was one of those nights. I have had a complete sense of deja vu all night God. Does that mean I am on track with your will? It sure feels like it. 


Thank you for the reminder tonight of what is important and what I was made to do. I LOVE YOU!!!


What God Said Tonight:
I loved tonight too. I love when you are walking in your purpose. I love when you are connecting with people and with me. I love when you recognize what you were made for. I love to see you happy. I celebrate with you. 


This life of yours is meant to be full of joy. It is meant to be full of moments when you know that you know that you are doing and being and experiencing my perfect will in your life. It is possible to live your life in my perfect will. It is possible to follow my will for your life. 


It won't always be easy. You may have setbacks...ok, you will have set backs, but if you keep at it, you can live with all the promises I have for you. It really is not that complicated. 


Love me and love your neighbor as yourself. You know that one. Seek me and you will find me. You know that one too. Study my word and you will have every answer to every situation you run into and you will have the road map for your life. 


I love you and I want my perfect will for your life. I have planned such GOOD things for you. I get excited just thinking about your future. 


I love you daughter. Stay rooted in my will. You will grow.

Blessing, favor, success...

My prayer:
Amazing God, thank you for sleep and rest last night!!! YOU ARE PHENOMENAL!!! 


I was thinking about Joseph tonight God. I was thinking about how you prospered him wherever he was. I also realized that he never made it out of Egypt. After being sold into slavery by his brothers, he never returned to Israel except to briefly to bury his father. 


Why didn't he return? Was it because he was so high in leadership in Egypt that he didn't want to leave? Or, was it that you weren't ready for the Israelites to leave Egypt yet and you had put Joseph in leadership to help his people? 


Sometimes I feel a lot like Joseph and so I wonder about this stuff. How did he feel about staying? The Bible doesn't really talk about that. Anyway, just questions going through my mind tonight. 


I love you God and I want to hear what is on your mind. 


What God Said Tonight:
You will have to ask Joseph some day how he felt about it all. I am not sure that you will get a completely unbiased answer since he will be looking at it from the end. He will be seeing it through the eyes of a man redeemed with complete understanding of my will. He might sugar coat it a bit because of that. 


But, Joseph was a man and, like any man, he struggled. He struggled with the things that he had to go through. He struggled with my plan for his life. He struggled with feeling angry and ungrateful. He was just a man. He loved, he lived, he prayed, and above all he trusted me even when things looked really bad. 


I can and will bless you wherever you are. You do not need to be perfect or even perfectly positioned  for my blessing and my favor. Just be you, do your best and I will be right beside you causing you to be successful all the days of your life. Favor in your life, whether you are in Jerusalem, in a pit, in jail, or in Egypt. I will cause you to succeed. I will be on your  side. I will take care of every need and destine you to succeed. 


You are my daughter and I plan to brag of you. I plan to celebrate your life for eternity. I love you so much and I am here for you always. You are my precious daughter and the apple of my eye. You are everything precious to me and I am committed to you and your success. Rest and be ready for tomorrow.

Over and over...

My prayer:
My incredible God. I am not sure what to pray about tonight. The biggest thing on my mind tonight is that I have got to get some truly restful sleep tonight. Three nights at three hours per night is just not working. 


The thoughts that are keeping me up are so stupid. They don't matter at all. The weird thing is, I know at the time that I am thinking about them, that they don't matter, but they circle around in my brain over and over, keeping me from sleeping. 


My God you make me dwell in safety and give me sleep. You are my rest and my strength. I know your promises over my rest and my sleep but I am definitely not seeing them in my life right now. 


As I am writing this, I am realizing that I haven't been doing what you taught me to do a long time ago. I haven't been saying your promises over my sleep before I go to bed or when I wake up during the night. That will change tonight. 


God, I am sorry that I have to learn the same lessons over and over. You must get frustrated with how often I forget what you have taught me. Forgive me God. I love you and continue to be so grateful that you have all the answers and I get to come to you about everything!


What God Said Tonight:
I don't get frustrated with you relearning lessons. I only get frustrated when you stop trying to learn. I don't get upset when you mess up and  come to me. I only get frustrated when you refuse to see that you mess up or when you don't bring it to me. 


I never have and never will expect you to be perfect. Far from it. There is only one who is perfect and that is me. Expecting yourself to be perfect means you are expecting yourself to be God. That is dangerous thinking. 


Stop beating up on yourself and stop expecting perfection. We have a procedure that was put in place just for you and for the times that you mess up. Pay attention to yourself, your life, and my voice. When you mess up, recognize it, bring it to me, turn from it and I will forgive and show you the way out. I will show you a different way of responding next time. 


This was put into place for you to use as often as you need to. I did not expect that we would do this once and everything from then on would be perfect. No, I knew that you would need this process everyday for the rest of your life and I have gladly provided it. 


What you won't see in that procedure is guilt. I have no use for it and it just wastes time  and energy. 


I love you so much and my sacrifice covers you every day. Don't worry about being perfect, just be repentant and earnest in your desire to follow my will. I love you so much. Rest peacefully tonight. I am with you.

The crown...

My prayer:
God, my God. I am so grateful for today and for the clarity and direction you provided me. I really needed to hear from you today. Thank you for meeting me and guiding me so clearly with no room for doubt. 


God, it is so good to be your child. It is so good to be able to bring anything to you and have you be there ready to help. It is so good that nothing I can ever say to you will shock or surprise you. It is so good to have a heavenly Father who knows everything and has been there Himself. 


God you are beyond the words I have to describe you. I love you and I am so grateful. I am all yours, now and forever. I don't ever want to spend one moment without you, ever.


What God Said Tonight:
You are a royal priesthood and I am fashioning your crown. It is more elaborate every day. There are more jewels in it every day. The diamonds sparkle like the ocean. They are designed in beautiful swirls to compliment the light and the overall shape. 


There are many other gems too. Rubies, emeralds, topaz, sapphires, all to remind you that you are worth more than all the jewels in the world. It is held in platnium and gold. 


I have spent a lot of time making this crown but it is not done yet. There are more jewels to add, there are more swirls to layer on the top. The crown will not be done until you are done. You won't wear it until you are in heaven with me but know that it is yours. Right now. 


You are a royal priesthood of the most high God and I have fashioned your crown. It is waiting for you. You never need to doubt your worth again. Your worth is reflected for all eternity. Your worth is beyond earthly measure. You are my daughter. You are my creation. You are my friend and companion. You are mine and I am yours. 

Tomorrow...

My prayer:
My God today was good. Rest, a new kitty to love, good food, good movies, a good book, good friends; thank you for the luxury of a weekly Sabbath day God. It is so very clear to me that I was designed to have one day of rest each week. Without it, I get so out of balance and dysfunctional. With it, I get refueled and ready to take on the next challenge. 


You are amazing God. I guess it only makes sense that you would know everything I need and when I need it since you created me. It is kind of weird sometimes though to realize that you know me better than I know myself. It is weird that you know what is best for me better than I do. It is not very logical, but then again, a lot of what you do and a lot of who you are is not "logical" in the typical sense. It only makes sense when I get to know you and get to know the way that the world works when your power is evident. 


Thank you God for being beyond logic and meeting my every need. I love you so much and I am grateful for all that you do and all that you are. God, I am excited about tomorrow and our plans. I can't wait to meet you at our special spot tomorrow. It has been too long since I took the time to spend with you there.


What God Said Tonight:
You needed rest today absolutely. Now, tomorrow, no more putting it off, no more hiding, no more pretending it is all ok. We have some stuff to deal with tomorrow and I need you to be ready for it. 


Most of the time, I have to remind people to get the focus off of themselves and get it onto other people. Tomorrow, I need you to do the opposite. I need you to get the focus on you so we can heal and fix a few things. Until we do, you will not be any good to the ones you want to help. 


It won't be too fun but it won't be too bad either. We will get through it together. I have all the answers for you just waiting for you to ask for them. I am fully prepared to show you the way out, as soon as you ask. Get ready to ask tomorrow. It is a date. 


I love you sweet daughter and I don't want you to worry tonight but I do want you to prepare. Prepare to be open and honest with me and yourself. Be prepared to face some things that may not be fun. Be prepared for me to heal it all and for you to move forward with a new level of joy an freedom in your life. I love you. Until tomorrow...
