The History: A couple of years ago, I started journaling my prayers and God's responses to them. I told my friends about this, they were really interested. I told my Pastor about it and he said, how about sharing those on line. When I asked God, He said, my words are for you, but not just for you. Transition to glory...

 


My prayer:

Wonderful Father. I am so grateful for this week and the time we have had together. It has been truly wonderful. 

My heart is breaking tonight though, for all of those I have talked with this week who are struggling with loss and in particular people who have lost their parent. We have the comfort of knowing that they are with you but it is still so hard for those left behind.

I lift up my friends to you Lord, those who are dealing with the loss of a parent and pray that you comfort them, you heal them, and you provide them with a new season filled with joy, peace, and purpose.

What God Said Tonight:

I received your prayer and I receive their pain. I will absorb their pain in this grief and leave them with the love and peace that only I can bring. I will wrap them in my love and I will show them the path forward. 

For those of you who have received salvation through my death and resurrection, can see death as a transition to glory.

Celebrate in their glory and be comforted in my plan and future for you. 

I love you my child, now and forever.
