Calling on God...

My prayer:

Awesome God. Tonight I need to lift up so many friends with so many needs that can only be met by your supernatural intervention. 

I ask for financial provision in my friend's life to pay off the debt that is more than I can help with. I ask for direction and comfort for my friend who keeps thinking he has heard your voice and direction only to have the door slammed in his face. I pray for my friend with the severe knee injury that they say is inoperable. 

God, I ask that you meet these needs like only you can, perfectly and completely. Whatever means you want to use but I ask that you bring the help soon. The situations have reached a level of desperation. 

Thank you Jesus!

What God Said Tonight:

A need is only a need when there is lack. I am the great provider. I will provide for all of your needs out of  my riches and glory. 

There is nothing big enough. strong enough or rich enough to keep me from coming when my children call. 

The right outcome...

My prayer:

My God, you're and awesome God you reign in heaven and earth, with wisdom, power and love my God you're an awesome God. 

How many millions of times have I sung that. It is old but it encompasses so much of you and who you are. You are my awesome ruler. Thank you for being in charge of my life!

What God Said Tonight:

It is not who you know but it is when you know who you know that is important. The right time in the right circumstance are just as important for the right outcome.

My prayer:

I choose to trust you God. I don't know what tomorrow will bring but I choose to trust you. I don't know the next step I should take but I choose to trust you. You have never let me down. You have promised you never will. You make it easy to trust you.

What God Said Tonight:

I have made a way. From the beginning of time, I knew about this day. I knew about you. I loved you from before you were born. I have expected and planned out this time. 

Your trust in me is well placed. You will see great and mighty things in my name. 

Your spirit, your soul and your life are all mine forever and I won't let go. Your body is a temporary dwelling that should be cared for but does not require the same level of importance. 

I love you. I am with you, always. We will see great things together.

Peace out of reach...

My prayer:

Thank you for the opportunities to be a blessing today God. I love when I get to be a part of you blessing people's lives. This life is so tough sometimes. It is fantastic to be a part of making even a small piece not so hard.

I am grateful for the person you have made me into, even with all of my imperfections. As long as I have you in me, I will get to be a blessing and be blessed. That kind of makes it all worthwhile.

What God Said Tonight:

Right now, I have peace all around you. You can see it but it is just out of reach. 

It is like you are standing on the cliffs overlooking the ocean. You can see a peaceful and beautiful beach down below but you can't reach it from where you are. You try to rest where you are but it is not comfortable and you do not get actual rest. 

My peace has not left you. It is around you. Please know that in this time, your place is on the rocks but that will not last forever. There is a time in the near future that I will personally walk you to the peaceful beach. I will hold your hand and lead you there. 

In the meantime, find solace in what you can see, even if you don't feel it right now. You are where I need you. I will take you from it as soon as I can. I love you.

My prayer:

I just want to rest in your presence tonight God. There is no better place. There is no better feeling than being safe in your love. Let me lie back in your love. I love you so much.

What God Said Tonight:

My love never leaves. My love never hurts. My love never fails. 

My love is something you can trust, now and always. 

My love is perfect. My love is not jealous or mean. It only loves. It does not fear that you won't love me back. My love just loves. 

My love is yours forever.

God shining in my darkness...

My prayer:

Well today sure turned out better than I thought it would! Thank you Jesus! With you God, there is always hope. No matter the challenge, no matter the drama, there is always hope because you are in my life. 

Thank you for being my hope.

What God Said Tonight:

Light is beautiful in darkness. Light in more light is difficult to notice but light in darkness is beautiful and usually welcomed. 

It is easier to notice and appreciate me when I shine in your dankness, in your struggle. When things are going smoothly, you know I am there but I am harder to see. My presence is less obvious. 

Now, I don't expect you to look forward to the struggle because of this. But, it is one way of seeing the struggle in a different way. Every struggle is a chance to really see me shine. 

I promise, it will be beautiful.

My prayer:

I just noticed God that we have been talking like this and posting it on line for seven years. That is pretty incredible! I still remember the first night that you led me to do this. I was so nervous. What if no body saw it or cared? What if everybody saw it? I knew I heard from you but I could not imagine why you wanted me to do it.

Now seven years later I have seen you touch hundreds of thousands of people with your words. What a privilege and an honor! 

Thank you for trusting me with this God. Thank you for talking to me always. Your voice in my ear is the sweetest sound I know.
