My prayer:

Thank you for the luxury of rest today God. It is back to work tomorrow. I will need your help making that transition. I pray for wisdom, patience, favor and that general amazing help that you provide.

You are so good to me. I am so grateful for you. Help me to be whatever you need me to be or want me to be tomorrow. 

What God Said Tonight:

I provide for all of your needs out of my riches in glory. I provide for all of your needs. 

As Father, I take care of you. As Savior, I save you. As Healer, I heal you. As teacher, I teach you. As Friend, I comfort you. As God, I create you. 

I am all things to you and for you. My provision never runs out. I am everlasting and all of my gifts for you are out of who I am, therefore, they will never run out. 

I love you, now and forever. You are mine and I am yours, forever.

Imperfect...

My prayer:

Thank you God for being better to me than I am to you. Thank you for thinking of me, loving me, caring for me even when I don't do the same to you. Thank you for forgiving me when I am thoughtless and rebellious. Thank you for loving me when I am at my most unlovable. 

Thank you for being so gracious to accept my meager attempts at worship. Thank you for receiving my love, as imperfect as it is.

What God Said Tonight:

I never need you to be perfect or even close. I always just need you to be committed to sticking it out with me. 

I will never leave you and as long as you never leave me, all will workout ok in the end. 

I love you now and forever. 

Bruised heart...

My prayer:

I did not do a great job of appreciating this day God. It is hard to come back to everyday life after a week of such great adventure. But, I will do my best to find the joy and adventure in everyday life. I will do my best to maintain an attitude of gratitude. I know it is better for me and it is the least of what you deserve.

I love you God. Thank you for being you.

What God Said Tonight:

Here is the thing though. Everyday life is nothing more than what you make it. I have great opportunities for adventure constantly in front of you. You only need to reach out and grab them. The enemy of joy and adventure is habit.

The enemy of your heart is satan. He beat up your heart. He tried to steal from you. He failed, but the bruise remains. The week of adventure gave time for the bruise to heal but it is not entirely gone. Your feelings today were not just being back home. They were the tender edges of the bruise healing over.

Give yourself the same room and consideration that you give others in grief. I will heal this wound.

Color...

My prayer:

The last night of a week of wonderful experiences. Thank you again God for being so amazing and allowing me this time of healing and rebuilding. I can't wait to see what is next. Thank you for your protection today. Those were some crazy roads we were on! I love you and I am ready for whatever you have next as long as we are in it together.

What God Said Tonight:

This week was to add color to your life. You needed a reminder that there is more to the world than what is in front of your face. 

Thank you for embracing the experience and trusting me through it all. 

I do have plans (you know I always do) and we will see tomorrow together. I love you.

Getting peace...

My prayer:

Awesome God, I am so grateful and so at peace. Your peace with your love is the most beautiful think in the world. 

I pray your peace envelop all of your kids. I pray your peace envelop all of my friends. I pray that your peace reign on this earth. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

My peace I bring to you and my peace, I give to you. Now and always. I am the peace maker. I am the Prince of Peace. I bring peace wherever I am. 

When you need more peace, get more fully into my presence. You will always find it there. When you want peace in a situation, invite me into it. When you need peace for someone else, let them see me.

My prayer:

A life long dream realized today! Thank you God! I feel like I am in a week of blessings and gifts and I am so very grateful! I revel in all that you do for me God.

What God Said Tonight:

Life is filled with patterns and experiences that are both beautiful and useful. 

Treasure you time of peace and blessing. Treasure your time to love and be loved. Treasure those moments that leave you breathless. Use them as a a storehouse of memories when things become more rough. 

Life will throw it all at you. Treasuring these moments help to cushion the blows. 

Treasure me and I will cushion every blow. Treasure me and I will make sure that everything is turned for your good. Treasure me and I will see you win every single time.

Beauty for ashes...

I am SO BLESSED!!!! What an amazing day you gave me! What amazing blessings!!! YOU ARE AMAZING! SO much beauty and so much magnificence, Thank you God. I cannot believe your generosity to me!!

What God Said Tonight:

Everything fits together. Everything has its time. You and your life are planned with a purpose. 

Your pain and suffering will be turned into joy, every time. I cannot and will not promise you that this world and this life will not bring you pain. My life on earth brought me pain. How could you experience less than your God? But I can always promise to turn it for your good. I can always promise beauty for ashes. I can always promise that you will never be alone. 

I bring you beauty for ashes today. Tomorrow I bring you great joy. I love you.
