God's Blessings...

My prayer:

Wow God! Today was a whirlwind of change! Exciting and exhausting. Very little of today turned out the way I thought it would but it all turned out ok. Thank you for your guidance. Thank you for your provision. Thank you for working out so many details to make today possible. I LOVE YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

The true blessing of today was your trust in me. The true blessing of today was to watch you seek so diligently for my voice and then to follow it.

I will bless you everyday of the rest of your life. It is much easier to bless you when you are listening and following me. 

I am like a good parent. What good parent rewards their child for doing something that will cause them harm? Neither can I reward you when you are doing something I know will harm you. However, I can lavish you with blessings when you are right there with me. 

I love you and I will find any excuse to bless you.

Rest and peace...

My prayer:

Long day, long night. A lot to process from today. It appears that we are entering a season of big transitions. I am ready, as long as you are in charge of all of the changes. Right now, my head is spinning and I am just ready for some rest. Can you turn off the world for me for just a bit?

What God Said Tonight:

I can give you rest. I can give you a place of safety and peace, here in my arms. I can give you peace in the middle of chaos. I can give you rest in the middle of striving. 

I love you daughter. Come ad rest in my peace.

God's solution...

My prayer:

I am seeking, seeking and seeking on this one issue God and I am not finding any answers. Or, I guess the more accurate way to say it is the only answer I am finding is "No, not this one." I need your help and direction or I need to know that I should stop seeking. I am ok with whatever your direction is, but please make it clear. This constant running after options that don't pan out is exhausting!

What God Said Tonight:

It is done already. Your timing is a bit off. You want to see the final answer now and now is not the time. Stay open, keep your eyes open, but you don't need to stress out. 

I have a plan and it is in place. I have the solution for you already established. You can't see it yet but that does not mean it is not there. 

Trust me and I will guide you to the answer. I have perfect timing.

Holes and emptiness...

My prayer:

Something is missing God. I don't know what it is but I know that it is missing. I feel less than whole. I pray for wholeness through Christ. I pray for you help to fill the void, whatever it is. I pray for you help.

What God Said Tonight:

Holes are nothing more than indications of where you need to grow, where you need to be blessed next. 

Holes, in the life of a believer, are never permanent. They are temporary discomforts that help focus you in on the next level of challenge and blessing. 

Seek out the missing piece. Seek out the emptiness. In it you will find your next level of blessing.

Crumbling foundations...

My prayer:

Amazing Father. I do not have anything on my mind worth talking about tonight. 

I am grateful for our time together today. I am grateful for the people you have anointed for music. I am grateful that you have blessed me so abundantly. I am grateful for your unfailing love. 

Any question, worry, need seems paltry in the face of all of that. Tell me God, what do you have on your mind tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

There are foundations that are crumbling. People have built their lives on faulty foundations and they are crumbling. 

These people need to know about the foundation that never fails. They need to know about the cornerstone. They need to know what and who they can count on when the whole world is falling apart around them. 

I have hope for thees people. I have a way out. I have overwhelming love for them. 

Help them to see me in your life. Talk about our relationship. Let them see the rock they can stand on for eternity. 

Hearing each other...

My prayer:

What a great day of blessing God. I was blessed and I got to bless some people. Nothing better than that! Thank you for a beautiful and blessed day. Praying for another one tomorrow...

What God Said Tonight:

You hear my voice in the still of the night. You hear my voice in the height of the day. You hear my voice and you know I am with you. 

I hear your voice in the calm of the night. I hear your voice in the height of the day. I hear your voice and I know you are with me. 

Let's never stop hearing each other. I love you my sweet child.

Who is in the throne...

My prayer:

Everything feels like it is confused and in a jumble tonight God. I know you are not the author of confusion so I know it is not coming from you. I pray for your peace, I pray for your healing and I pray for your will God, in my life.

What God Said Tonight:

I have got you. Don't let your feelings overwhelm what you know is true. Don't let your feelings rule you. 

I am, through your own choice, Lord of your life and so what I say goes. I say that your life is in the hands of the most High God. I say that you are a royal priesthood. I say that I will work everything out for your good. 

Tonight, focus on what I say about you. Focus on the truth and let your feelings know that they are not sitting in the throne, that is my spot.
