Past and future...

My prayer:

I am trusting that tomorrow will be good report Monday. I am trusting that your will is being accomplished in every area of my life. I am trusting that you will bring me through any and every thing that comes up.

You God are so worthy of trust and I freely give you all of the trust I am capable of.

What God Said Tonight:

You have been prepared. Every event, every challenge, every success and every failure has brought you to this day. Every day and night of your life so far has been preparation for tomorrow.

You are not yet where you are going to be but you are not where you were. You are learning to live in the mystery of unresolved things. You are learning to live in patience with expectation. You are beginning to believe again that life may yet have some surprises for you.

You future is not your past but your past has prepared your future.
I love you and we are walking into this together, as always my love.

Fire...

My prayer:

You are so wonderful God.

Thank you for every word of encouragement and wisdom today. Thank you for the amazing good news and breakthrough. Thank you for reminding me with every breath that you are in charge and you are with me, now and forever.

You are SO WONDERFUL!!!

What God Said Tonight:

Kindling burns fast and it burns hot. Kindling is needed to start the fire. What is needed to sustain the fire is the large old logs that may seem less exciting but they last for the duration and keep you warm. Every fire needs both.

You have the kindling from today. You have the logs from your bank of experience. Put them together and you will burn for a long time.

Turn it around...

My prayer:

One day, one piece of news, can change everything.

I pray God for your will to be done.I pray, dear Jesus, for the healing that you provide for us. I pray that your report be the only one that stands. I pray, I trust, and I leave it in your hands.

What God Said Tonight:

I have yet to see one thing that surprises me.

I have this well in hand. I knew this was coming and I have a plan.

I am with you. I will not leave you. I will not leave him. You are my children and I love you now and forever.

You will see great things out of this awful beginning. You will see great joy out of this pain. I will turn everything around for your good.

Shoes...

My prayer:

Thanks for today God. Filled with love and laughter. I would like to have more of those.

But, I have worn myself out completely again and can barely keep my eyes open. Can you speak to me so my last thoughts of the day are your voice?

What God Said Tonight:

Walking in your own shoes can get weary. Walk a bit in someone else's shoes for awhile. It will not only give you compassion for them, it will also give you great appreciation for your own life.

I have given each person all that they need for a full life here on earth. Each of my children have what they need within them. Search it out and you will find it.

The death of worry...

My prayer:

So many details racing through my mind tonight. I am having a difficult time turning the thoughts off.

You are my safe harbor God. You are my protection and covering. You make all things work out for my good.

I choose to lay every worry down in front of you, knowing that you will guide, direct and take care of me. I give them all to you God. Show me what I should do when I should do it.

Thank you Jesus!

What God Said Tonight:

I have received your worry and I will shoulder them all. I will not nurse them. I do not intend to allow them to grow.

I intend to see them drown in the sea of my peace. I intend to see them die in the presence of the one who has authority over the world and heaven.

Rest in God...

My prayer:

I am physically tired and tired of listening to my own thoughts. God, let me hear your voice. Tell me anything you want to talk about. Get me out of my own head for a minute.

What God Said Tonight:

Shhh. Relax into me. I am here. I am yours.

Let me rock you and sing you to sleep tonight. Rest in my loving arms. Rest in my protection. Rest in the assurance that I have everything under control.

Rest sweet child. I have got you.

Wrong and right...

My prayer:

Awesome God, I pray for your peace and wisdom. I pray for your guidance and help.

I get the definite impression that there are things that are not right God. I pray that you make them right. Change whatever needs to be changed in me. Show me what to do or not do. I pray your will is done on earth as it is in heaven. In this situation as it is in heaven.

What God Said Tonight:

I have much yet to show you.

Some things need to be unsettled for a period of time. Some things need to be "wrong" for a period of time in order to encourage the right into place.

My will is sometimes hard to understand until it is done. My will can sometimes seem disruptive. I can't promise you smooth sailing.

I can promise you that I will never leave you. I can promise you that I can give you peace in the middle of any battle. I can promise you that everything works out for your good in the end.

You are my child and I am always on your side.
