Choosing God's will...

My prayer:

Awesome God. Today was certainly not what I expected but it was pretty wonderful. I really love when you take over. It sure takes the pressure off.

Thank you for the divine appointments today God. Getting to minister to people with the greater understanding of your grace is pretty wonderful. Knowing I didn't have to convince anyone of anything, just love and let you do your thing, it was wonderful and again, really takes the pressure off.

Thanks for a pressure free day God! You are wonderful.

What God Said Tonight:

You prayed with a sincere heart that my will be done today. Every time you pray that prayer, and mean it, I guarantee that I will see my will accomplished.

I gave you free will so that you could choose me. I gave you free will so that when you had the choice, you could choose life. Choosing brings you closer to me. It strengthens our relationship every time you choose me.

Much like in a marriage, there is a level of contentment and satisfaction in each day that the other person stays in the marriage and does not leave. However, there is a great joy in each day where the other person says and means, "I choose you today."

That is powerful. That is love. That is what makes life worth living. When the one you love chooses you...that is the good stuff.

So, know that I choose you everyday. I choose you no matter what. When you choose me, it makes my heart swell. I love you sweet child.

I have a bunch of random thoughts running through my head tonight God but I am not sure any are worth talking about let alone worth praying about.

Thank you for today. Thank you for being amazing.

I am really interested in anything you want to say. I bet it is A LOT more interesting than my random thoughts.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not just my voice that brings you what you seek and long for. It is my love.

My love completes you and strengthens you. My love makes  you whole. My love is what will never leave, for all eternity, it is yours.

Why praying is important...

My prayer:

Thanks for hearing all of my prayers today God. I feel like I am spending more time than usual asking for your help lately. Sometimes for myself and sometimes for others, but it sure seems like I am needing your help and intervention a lot more than usual.

Thank you for always being there for me, for us. I hope I am not getting to be too needy or annoying.

Knowing you, you will probably say that you love me too much for me to be annoying, but, there are people I love with my whole heart who sometimes get annoying. As I think about it, when that happens, it doesn't make me love them any less though...ok, now I am rambling. Time to let you talk.

What God Said Tonight:

I am your Father so everything that is a concern to you is a concern to me.

I never get tired of your prayers. I never want you to stop asking. I already know the needs. Your asking, your praying is about you and me coming into agreement. It strengthens our relationship and you know how important that is to me.

So, whether you are praying for a need, praying for a desire or just taking time to talk to me, I am always here and ready to listen.

I am yours and you are mine forever sweet child.

I am wiped out but grateful for today. Thank you for divine appointments and amazing people. I can't wait to see how you work this all out.

What God Said Tonight:

I have you positioned for greatness. However, greatness may not look like what you expect it to.

My greatness, greatness in my Kingdom comes from supporting from behind, not from shining out front. Greatness in my Kingdom is clothed in humility, not shining with pride. My greatness, greatness in my Kingdom is about what it brings to others, not what it brings to you.

Be great, but be great in the way that fits in my Kingdom.

Trusting God...

My prayer:

Today was a very interesting mix of good, bad and ugly. Thank you for the good. Thank you for wisdom in the bad. Thank you for making the ugly into something new and beautiful.

You, awesome Lord, turn all things for my good. I always win because even if I initially lose, you turn it around for my benefit. That assurance, which I have seen in my life time and time again, gives me great confidence.

What God Said Tonight:

I am omnipresent. I am everywhere at all times. I am in your future and your past. I am in your present, right by your side.

I see things as they already are but have not been yet seen. I see how things could be if different choices are made. I have great wisdom, that is true, but it does not take great wisdom to see what is before me and understand what led up to it. It dos not take great wisdom on my part but it takes great faith and trust on your part.

Trust me to see the things that you have not yet seen Trust me to know the outcome from the beginning. Step out in faith with me, when I lead you to and you will see such great things with me.

Awesome God. You know the secrets of my heart. You know the words I don't speak and the thoughts I barely dare to think. And you love me anyway. You heal me anyway. You bless me anyway.

Thank you for being you and being so kind to me.

I have got you child. I have not let go .

I have you wrapped tight in my arms and no one will harm you. I have purpose for you. I have more for you than what you have seen.
