Love like God...

My prayer:

God, I pray and ask for the wisdom and grace to love like you love.

What God Said Tonight:

Stop looking for what is wrong in people and just love them for who they are. Stop worrying about whether they are making the right or wrong choice and love them either way.

You have been a mentor and a teacher for so long now, you think it is part of your purpose to advise. And, sometimes it is. But sometimes, that gets in the way of you loving.

My love is free. My love is forever. My love is not changed by circumstances. My love is above the troubles of this life and of this world. To love like I do, you have to be above the troubles of this world too.

Come, let me show you how.

Awesome God. I am so excited for the opportunity of the next week! An entire week to do nothing but follow your lead. No obligation or responsibility except to listen to and follow you!

Thank you in advance for all that you are going to do over the next week. LOVE YOU!

I have a purpose and plan in your life and I have have a special purpose and plan for this week. You have seen many wonderful things. You have desired to see more. I have more for you.

Keep alert. Keep focused. Love, always.

God's focus...

My prayer:

Wonderful Father. I have nothing on my mind tonight.

I am content. I am at peace. Life is far from perfect but you are perfect and at least for tonight, that is enough.

What is on your mind?

What God Said Tonight:

My mind, my heart, my Spirit, is filed with you, my children.

I am singularly focused on you and your well being. My entire intent is to bring my children into full and right relationship with me.

We have an eternity together. I don't plan on living it alone. I am yours and you are mine, forever. I love you more than words can ever express.

You are my single focus and care.

Heaven on earth...

My prayer:

Sweet Father. I am tired in a good way today. Lots of things accomplished today. You know how I like to check off boxes. I am just super relaxed and calm tonight with nothing much on my mind.

What about you?

What God Said Tonight:

I am waiting, just off to the corner, waiting for the perfect timing of the next move I have a great plan that is very  lose to launching. Just a few minor things that need to get into place.

Then, it will be time and you will see great things from heaven here on earth. You will see prophecies fulfilled. You will see my glory on this earth and you will worship me in spirit and in truth.

Here is comes again, so close.

New perspective...

My prayer:

Wonderful Father. It was kind of nice being back at work today and feeling useful. It was great to be feeling healthy and strong again finally. It is always interesting how the very things that seemed so mundane and boring a couple of weeks ago can seem reassuring and fulfilling after being taken away for awhile. New perspective is a wonderful thing.

Thank you for today and thank you for the new things tomorrow.

What God Said Tonight:

It is not my plan to make you suffer, ever. But suffering brings perspective. It is not my intention for you to be sick but sickness makes you appreciate health.

There are many bad and evil things in this world that I never intended for you to have to deal with. But, since we are where we are and evil is here, that evil will not go to waste.

I can turn all things to your good. That includes good things and bad things. I can take evil and turn it into your blessing.

Awesome God. Help me to see what I need to do next. Help me to see where I go next. God, I ask and pray for help with what is next.

What God Said Tonight:

I will place your feet on the path you were created to walk.

There is much in life that is a choice. You have chosen to follow me.

I will guide you always. You step out...I will place your feet.

I love you and I will not let you stumble and fall.

I'm confused...

My prayer:

This entire week was filled with things not turning out like I expected. And, while I am doing my best to roll with the punches, there are some things that have been pretty tough to take. Just about the time I think I might have some little piece of life figured out, everything changes and I realize I don't know anything after all.

I am not sure what, if anything, I am asking for God. Maybe wisdom? I am not sure.

If all of this is your will, then I will do my best to shut up and wait to see how you work it out. If it is not your will, I pray that in your sovereign power, change it to your will.

What God Said Tonight:

I have shown you many things about your future, about the future of the Kingdom. I haven't shown you all that you will go through to see that future. I haven't shown you the struggles and the hard times.

Those things will come and we will deal with them together. Knowing they are coming ahead of time does not make them easier on you. All you need to know, all you need to trust is that I will help you face and conquer every challenge that comes your way. I will prepare you for everything that comes your way.

I am on your side. Let me worry about what is next. You follow me. I am never surprised by what comes. I am always prepared.

If you knew the struggles you will face tomorrow, you may not want to get out of bed. But the hope and promise of tomorrow, that I can show you. That will move you forward. The challenges, I have got those. I will work them out.

Just follow me, day and night and we will walk through the trouble and see the promises.
