Shower of love...

My prayer:

Thank you so much for today God. Thank you for healing so many lives and setting them free and THANK YOU for letting me be a part of it.

It was wonderful to see your healing love wrap around the people and heal their pain. God your love is so amazing. It is the cure for every painful thing in this world.

Thank you for letting me spread some of your love around today.

What God Said Tonight:

I shower my love on you as a healing balm. I know the struggles you face. I know the pain you endure. I faced the same struggles and I felt and feel your pain.

Turn into my shower of love and let it heal the broken places in your life. Let it cover the hurt. Let it restore the joy of youth in you.

I offer my love as your free gift and I will never take it away. There is nothing that could ever make me stop loving you. Ever.

Purpose...

My prayer:

What a wonderful night of worship God. Thank you for urging me to go when I thought about canceling. You literally always know best.

God, I am so ready for new purpose in my life. I am so ready to do...whatever you want me to do. Send me God. Whatever it is you want done, send me.

I am tired of watching life happen to me from the sidelines. I am ready to get back in the game.

What God Said Tonight:

Sometimes what I have for you to do is to receive. I have had you right where you needed to be. But your time there, in that place of healing and rest is nearly over.

You will see the opportunities and the purpose unfolding with precise perfection as you have seen so many times in the past.

Your life has many more adventures left. Your life has many more people to touch.

I am in you and where I am, there is healing. Where I am, there is salvation. Where I am, there is power.

I am in you, now and forever.

Good choice...

My prayer:

Amazing God, thank you for choosing me to be yours. I am so blessed because of you.

I am constantly experiencing your favor because you chose me. I am never alone because you chose me. I can always come to you and unload my burdens and you always take them because you chose me.

The absolute BEST thing that has ever happened in my life is that you chose me. THANK YOU!!

What God Said Tonight:

I chose you before you were born. I knew you in your mother's womb. My  choice was made from the beginning of time. Your choice came a bit later.

We are in this together because we choose to be. I think we both made a good choice. I love you.

Rest in God...

My prayer:

I have no idea what to talk about tonight. I am really more interested in being with you and listening to you. I love you God and I am all yours.

What God Said Tonight:

Come here. Rest your head on my shoulder. Let your thoughts, your worries, your concerns, all of it, let it go into my arms.

Find your rest and comfort in me. Find your vacation in me. Let me take the burden for awhile. Let me take the responsibility on for awhile. Let me hold you up for awhile.

I love you so and I am your strong tower. I can handle anything and everything that is thrown at you in this life. I have an answer and a way out of every trouble.

Let your head rest on my shoulder and find your rest in me.

Roots...

My prayer:

Thanks for getting me out of my self centered shell God. It felt good to make a few people happy today. Thank you for the answered prayer report. You are alive and working in our lives and I am eternally grateful!

What God Said Tonight:

The green grass of spring is beginning to grow but that beautiful green starts as ugly roots under ground.

It is the roots that feed the blade. It is the roots that anchor the blade. It is the roots that make it all possible.

You have come out of of a time of reestablishing roots that will feed and support your next season. You will be the blade in the next season. You will show yourself and the beauty that I have put in you.

Spring is nearly here.

Lost...

My prayer:

You know the old saying, "If you don't have anything nice to say, keep your mouth shut."? This is me shutting my mouth. But I open my ears and my spirit to hear you God. You make everything worth it. Let me hear your voice.

What God Said Tonight:

I see where your eyes are looking and it is no wonder that you are lost. When you are only looking in yourself, you cannot see where you are going.

Change your view to look at those around you. Change your plans to help those around you. Change your effort from fulfilling your own need and fulfill someone else's needs.

Look around you and see what I have for you. See the future that you are walking into. See the blessings I have for you. You won't find any of that looking at yourself. You will only find it when you look around you, out side of you and toward those I have placed in your life.

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am tired of trying to figure out this life. Sometimes it makes sense. Other times it doesn't. Sometimes there seems like there is a greater purpose for me being here and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes it seems like I am a help to other people, a blessing and sometimes it doesn't.

I think, at least for tonight, I am going to stop thinking and just trust you. I give up. I can't figure it all out.

But I do believe, with all of my heart, mind and spirit, that you have it all figured out and that you love me. I do believe that you make it all work for my good in the end. So, at least for tonight, I am going to stop studying, questioning, wondering, and I am going to just rest in the truth that you have it all under control.

What God Said Tonight:

Good. I have got you.

Your job is not to figure it all out. Your job is to love and to trust.

Your mind, your curious and analytical mind is something I gave to you and it takes you quite far. But, when you hit the end of your understanding, I am always there. I can take it from there. Hand it off to me and I will finish it.
