God, the finisher...

My prayer:

Hi God. I am pretty tired of me and my stuff. Tonight, I really just want to listen. What is on your mind tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

I am not tired of you and your stuff. I am in the middle of your stuff and I am doing a work in you even though you can't see it right now. 

I am healing you. I am restoring you. I have not stopped. I am still at work and I won't stop until you have every promise I have ever given  you. I won't stop. 

I have you here for a reason. I have you in my hand and I will not leave you here. I intend to finish. I don't ever start something that I don't finish. When I said on the cross, it is finished, I completed a very long and important promise. When I say I am finished with you, it won't be until you are wholly restored. And then, that will be just the beginning of us. Love you.

Light at the end of the tunnel...

My prayer:

A day of insight and hope. Thank you God, I needed that! You are really wonderful to me God. I mean, you are wonderful but the way you treat me, how you take care of me, how you comfort me, how you always make sure that the right people are there right when I need them...WONDERFUL!

Thank you for the new clients at work today. Thank you for the continued success and promotion there. You bless the works of my hands and I am forever grateful. You make me look good. 

I love you God and can't wait to hear what you have to say tonight. It has been a rough couple of weeks but I see light at the end of the tunnel...hey, I bet that is you! 

What God Said Tonight:

I am with you and in you. I am your hope, your light at the end of the tunnel too. I am everything you need and most of what you want. 

I love you so much. There is nothing I will not do for you. There is nothing I won't endure for you. I give you all of me and I receive all of you. Together, we will live throughout eternity. 

Enjoy yourself whenever you can. Find your peace and strength in me. Walk in faith and the full conviction that I will not let you down, ever. 

Don't get distracted...

My prayer:

Sweet Father. Thank you. You are everything I need and more. I trust you to walk me through this life and into eternity with you.

What God Said Tonight:

I am with you every step of the way my sweet child. Many will try to distract you. They will have shiny promises and half stated promises. 

You, you are position for greatness and if you chose me, I will take you to such joy, you won't believe it. Today is the day of victory. 

Discouraged...

My prayer:

I am tired. Mind, body, soul tired. God, I ask for new enthusiasm. Remind me what is important and why I am here? Remind me why it is all worth it? I am sorry to sound so down tonight. I just need some help remembering.

What God Said Tonight:

I can bring to your memory every person you touched, through me and helped. I can bring to your memory every sunshine filled trail and mountain we have climbed together. I can bring to your memory the joy of a puppy's or child's face looking to you for everything. 

There is much love in  your life. There is much left to do. You will get tired. You will get worn out. Your enthusiasm will wane. But, you have me living in you so you will never completely be spent. You will always have a litle more. 

Things are not working out how you thought they might right now. You are discouraged. It has sapped your energy and drive. But, tomorrow, there will be new dreams to dream. There will be new joy to experience. There will be new hope. I am in you and with you and I am not done with you yet. I love you.

Confused...

My prayer:

I am confused God, about a lot of things. I am confused about my feelings, the things I want and don't want. I am confused by this path we are on where I think you are trying to teach me that some things need to be done completely by you and I need to only trust and wait. Is that really what you are telling me or am I just being lazy? 

But you are not the author of confusion. You know the end from the beginning and you are never confused. God, I ask and pray for clarity tonight. Please clear the confusion and replace it with your peace, your clarity, your wisdom for my life.

What God Said Tonight:

You are confused because you are trying to reconcile what you know I am telling you now with what you have been taught in the past. Not all of the teaching you have had was bad but it was for a certain time. This time, this season needs a different level of trust. It needs a different level of understanding and obedience. 

You served me well and you served me hard. Those were days of hard work and great reward. The season we are in now is more about me helping you. It is about me healing you. It is about me redeeming and restoring you. 

I know that is hard for you. I know that you would rather give and help than be helped. But this, this is something you can't do for yourself. This is something that no one else can do for you. This is something only I can heal. This is something that I came to earth and sacrificed my life for. 

You have done all that you can do. Now it is my turn. You are not being lazy, you are being receptive. Receive what I have for you. Receive what I bought for you. I did it all for you and for this time. 

Spending time with God...

My prayer:

Thank you God for the strength and endurance to make it through the many challenges and opportunities this week. I am ready to rest with you tomorrow. Let's do something wonderful together, ok? Love you.

What God Said Tonight:

I love my time with you. Anything we do together is wonderful for me. I am your Father, creator and Lord, so anywhere we are together, I am happy. I don't need a lot of pomp and circumstance. I do not need a lot of fanfare. I just need you and me and quiet moment to meld together. 

I just need a few moments for you to clear your mind and to fill it with my thoughts. I just need a little time set aside so I can love on you. You are my heart, my love and I love spending time with you. 

You pick the spot. I will be there.

Lead me...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I pray and ask for more discernment and wisdom. There is a lot going on and I want to be sure that I am following your plan. I am doing my best but I just want to be sure. Life is exciting right now and I love that. You know I hate it when things are boring. But with that excitement comes some worry that I might mess it all up. Guide me, direct me, help me to be in your perfect will. 

What God Said Tonight:

I have never left you. I am the one who is opening the opportunities in front of you. I am the one who is blessing and prospering you. I am the one who is turning all things to your good. Follow my lead, follow the open doors and you will be following me. 

Your life is blessed, ordained and you are made in my image. You are my child. You will naturally follow me when you trust the inner Spirit that I have put in you to help you. 

Never lose touch with my Holy Spirit. It is truly there to help you every step of the way. My salvation covers you, but my Holy Spirit guides you and teaches you. 

I am with you always and I love you more than you will ever know.
