Work in progress...

My prayer:

Wonderful Father. I am so grateful for this week of rest and fun! Thank you for all of the beauty that you showed me. Thank you for the time to not think, not make decisions, not feel responsible for everything. 

I have one more day and then it is back to the routine. 

God, I pray for your help to be the person you created to me even when I am stressed, even when I am irritated, even when I don't know what to do next. God, help me to love better.

What God Said Tonight:

I am not done with you yet. You are a work in progress. 

You improve each time you lean on me.  

I am in you and I am changing your nature but it is not done yet. I am not done yet. I am changing you from the inside out which can take a while but creates a permanent change that will last. One that will endure the storm. 

I know you look at yourself and you see the scars and the warts but when I look at you, I see the beauty of all that you have been and all that you are. And, most of all, I see the beauty of who you will become. 

I see you wrapped in my son who heals and redeems. I see you perfected in him. I delight in who you are and, I will see you be all that you can be.

What God can do...

My prayer:

Wonderful Lord! Today was pretty fantastic. Thank you for your blessings, your divine health, your direction, and your favor on my life and those around me. 

The hike today was so beautiful. I love getting away from the city and just immersing myself in the beauty of nature that you created. The flowers were amazing today! You didn't have to make it all so beautiful, but you did. 

I think the big difference in today vs. yesterday is that I really did take the time to listen to you, all day. Thanks for showing me where to go and what to do. Your choices are always the best. 

It is not that I don't still have some struggles going on. You know that I do and I don't mean to minimize them or pretend they are not there. They just were not so important today. You were important today. Not the struggle. God, I trust you to work out my struggles and take me into a new season.

God, please bless all the amazing people that pray for me. Knowing there are so many wonderful prayers coming up to you for me, blesses me so much. Please shower back on them your blessings. Love you!

What God Said Tonight: 

I can make beauty grow in any environment. I can make blessings out of any seed. I can change anything to your good. I am not dependent on the circumstance or the struggle to make a way for you. 

I am the answer to every question and every struggle. I am the way, the truth, and the life. I am all that you need. 

Remember when you were singing that to me today on the hike? There are those moments where you know the truth of that. When you know that I am everything that you need. There are moments that you forget. When you forget, the next time that you forget, try to remember the scope of who I am and what I can do. Try to concentrate on my capabilities to change things for your good, not on the details and confusion of your struggle. 

I am here for you, now and forever and I am everything you will ever need. I am your source. I am your help. I am your God. I will never let you down.

Pay attention to God...

My prayer:

Wonderful Father. I don't have anything uplifting to talk about tonight. I feel like I wasted this day and was not much of a blessing to anyone. Just feeling pretty blah. Maybe it is best if I just listen tonight and not do the talking.

What God Said Tonight:

Days lived without purpose feel like you are wasting them. I don't waste anything though. I can use any situation or any act. I can teach you in the middle of a storm or when you are laying in the sunshine. I am not confined by the circumstances. The circumstances are  mine to use and to mold to my purpose. 

I ask only the one thing of you. Pay attention to me. Pay attention to my voice. Pay attention to where I am leading you. Pay attention to what I am doing. 

If you do that one thing, everything else will fall into place. Your purpose will be accomplished. You will love all those around you. You will not struggle with self worth. 

Pay attention to me all the time and I will take you into your promised land. It is good there with an abundance of everything you need and want. Listen to me and I will lead you there.

Protection...

My prayer:

Awesome God, I am in awe of your protection tonight. I don't think I realized until I saw the news tonight of all of the flooding that you directed us around. There was danger all around us and we did not even know. You took us so safely through it all. You are so amazing. I can't imagine what I would do without you. I bet I would have not lived nearly this long.

God, I pray for everyone that is in danger's way tonight and I pray that you lead them out and protect them. Only my God, the God of the universe is big enough to meet a prayer like that. Thank you Jesus!

What God Said Tonight:

I have plans for you. Your purpose is not yet complete. I will protect you and I will protect the purpose and the plan. 

I am your Father and as your Father, it is my responsibility to keep you safe. I will always defend you. I will always care for you. If you stub your toe, I will heal it. If you are flooded, I will rise you up from the water.

I will see you well and I will see you complete your purpose. Your protection is complete in me. 

God's gifts...

My prayer:

I love being able to explore this amazing world that you created and I love getting to do it with the amazing woman you chose to be my Mom! 

Today was really wonderful God. Thank you for guiding us, and showing us where to go and who to talk to. Thank you for the luxury of getting to take a vacation. I am very aware that not everyone gets to take time away and just explore. 

Love you and can't wait to see what you have for us tomorrow.

What God Said Tonight:

I have chosen this time for you. I have set aside this time for you to breathe before we jump into the next season and project. The next season will be amazing but having time to breathe and relax first is a good idea. 

You continue to follow the rhythms of my will for your life and you will always be at peace. I promise I will always give you work that is fulfilling, rest that is redeeming, and joy that is overwhelming. I will also give you strength when you are weak and peace in the middle of chaos. My gifts for you are never ending and always right where and when you need them. 

You are so perfectly positioned for my will to be done in your life. 

Living is easy...

My prayer:

What a wonderful day with you God! Thank you for the beauty and for the luxury to enjoy it. I may not have everything I want in life yet but what I do have, I am SO GRATEFUL for! Thank you for health, guidance, love, provision and for the promise that you will give me the desires of my heart. 

I love the scripture that I was listening to a teaching on today, I think it was in Ephesians, where you say that you will look at the things that we want and if they match up with your plan, you will surely see them come to pass but if they don't you will gradually and gently change my heart toward them. 

That is such a HUGE comfort God. Because, yes, there are things that I want but I also know that not everything I want is good for me. So, to know that you will give me everything that I want that is in your will and those things that I want that are not in your will, you will help me to stop wanting them...what a load off of my mind!

I love living in your will God.

What God Said Tonight:

My burden is light. Life with me is not always easy, but when you stop fighting and relax in my will and my grace for you, you will see that life and living is easy. 

I came to give you life and give it to you more abundantly. I want nothing more than for you to live the full and miraculous life that I envision for you. I want you to live in joy and in peace. I want you to love and be loved. I want you to have it all and then a little more. 

I love you and I want only the best for you. Now and forever.

Heart praise...

My prayer:

Thank you God for your miracle healing power! So many examples in the last couple of days. You are amazing and wonderful and I am GRATEFUL!!! I wish that we had an entire new language to praise you with. The words that I use for everyday things are not enough.

What God Said Tonight:

My ears do not only hear your voice. My ears can hear your heart. My eyes see more than what eyes can see. My eyes see the truth behind the facade. I can perceive on every level all at the same time, physical, emotional, and spiritual. 

Your heart tells me your praise. Your heart tells me your joy. Your heart tells me your truth.
