The History: A couple of years ago, I started journaling my prayers and God's responses to them. I told my friends about this, they were really interested. I told my Pastor about it and he said, how about sharing those on line. When I asked God, He said, my words are for you, but not just for you. And, here we are...I hope He speaks to you in these words.
My prayer:
Awesome God. I am ready to fall asleep sitting up. I love you and I am here out of faithfulness to you but I need you to take it tonight. Thank you for all that you did today in my life, in my friends' lives and for being generally amazing.
What God Said Tonight:
Sweet daughter, you are tired. I appreciate your faithfulness in coming here to be with me anyway.
I love that you are willing to sacrifice for our relationship. That is the point of all of this. To get closer. To get so that you know me better than you know yourself. The more you know me, the easier it is to recognize my voice and to hear me. The easier it is to hear me, the more quickly I can help you and the more quickly I can let you know when I need you to do something.
Each time we meet, each time that we talk, you are getting to know me better. There will be a day when we are so close it will remind me of my days with Adam before the fall. I want that day to day closeness with you. I want you to hear me no matter what. Whether you are busy or calm, whether you tense or relaxed, whether you are in need or at peace, I want you to hear me.
There are times when I need to tell you something, something that you need to know for the very situation at hand. I need you to hear my voice clearly, for your sake and for mine. You are going to see great things with me. We will do great things. But to do them we have to be closer than we are right now and that only happens by spending time together. I want you to know me as well as you know yourself, maybe even better.
So, thank you for coming tonight even though you are tired. You can rest now and I will give you rest. You will awake refreshed and ready for a new day. You will wake up strong and raise up on wings like an eagle. I love you daughter. Sleep well but stay in my presence always so you can know me.

Mighty God, I am not sure what to pray about tonight. You as always are awesome. You took care of me and everything I needed today. It was a busy day but an ordinary day. I am not complaining; ordinary is good now and then.
Thank you for an ordinary day where nothing bad happened and everything went generally smoothly. Thank you for work to keep me occupied, challenged and paid. Thank you God for taking care of me again today. Thank you for amazing people in my life. Thank you for the inspirations on how to document and share the testimonies of your answers to prayers. It is going to be awesome!

What God Said Tonight:
It is in the ordinary that the extraordinary becomes visible. It is the backdrop of the ordinary that allows the extraordinary to shine through. Do not despise the ordinary. It, like everything, has a purpose.
It is the ordinary that is the fabric of life. The memorable events are the highlights, the flair. But is is the ordinary day to day that is the base and fabric that holds it all together.
I love you daughter. I cradled you today and kept you safe. I kept you from the many pile- up accidents on the highway this morning. I kept you from unknown assaults on your character. I kept you from creating situations that you would regret in the future. Sometimes the miracle is in what didn't happen. Sometimes the gift is in the ordinary. Sometimes the praise report is that nothing happened. It could have been so much worse.
Recognize me in the showy miracles but recognize me in the ordinary miracles. Recognize my power in the things that don't happen as well as in the things that do. I love you daughter and I will always take care of you. Enjoy this ordinary time because it is a miracle.

Thank you for healing the respiratory issue with my friend this morning, thank you for healing my mom's GI thing tonight and thank you for healing my fb friend's mom who was in the ER.
YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! Your healing power is AMAZING!!! I love to see you heal people God! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! God I love you. You thought of everything. Not only did you provide a way for all of my sins to be forgiven but you didn't stop there. You also allowed yourself to be beaten to heal my diseases, to heal our diseases. You didn't have to do it but you did. Jesus, you were beaten beyond recognition. Some translations say you were beaten so badly that you were not even recognizable as human. I am so sorry that happened but I am so grateful that you paid the price.
And Jesus, as long as I am alive, you did not pay the price for nothing. I will continue to pray and receive your healing power for myself and for others. I will continue to call on you to heal us God. I will continue to praise you God and I will continue to be beyond grateful for every time that you heal us. YOU ARE AMAZING!!!! I know I keep saying that but there is no other word I can think of that expresses how, well, how amazing you are!! I love you God. Thank you again.

Sweet daughter I love to see you happy. I love to see you celebrating. Healing is in my DNA so to speak. I am made of love. I am love and being love, the natural result is healing. Love is the power behind the healing.
Love is the most powerful thing in the world. It can create and heal. It can also be distorted and become something other than love. When that happens, it can cause more pain than you can imagine. Keep your love pure and holy sister. Allow your love to heal and not harm.
I love to heal people too mostly because of how it builds your faith. There is something about being healed when you are sick that makes you believe anything is possible. The problem is, not everybody remembers the miracle after they are healthy for awhile. It is good to write the miracles down and have a memorial of them. I like the thought you have been circling around about a place to post praise reports to strengthen people's faith and hope. Go ahead with that, it will be good.
I am with you now and forever. I will hear you when you call me and I will answer. I am your God and your Father. I am your teacher and your protector and yes, I am your healer, and I always will be. You my sweet daughter continue to grow and move and do all that I have called you to do. You are going to love what is coming next.

Awesome and mighty God. Today was a surprise! Things didn't go like I thought but they were fun! I love your surprises. I love that you continue to surprise me. Reverb online church was awesome tonight God. Over 100 people got saved! That had to be a BIG PARTY in heaven!!
God I truly love you. I love the things that you love. I haven't always felt that way. I haven't always even understood the things that you love and I definitely haven't always loved the same things that you do. But now, after all these awesome years with you, I love to see you happy and love it when I get to be a part of something that makes you smile. God I pray that I always make you smile.
What God Said Tonight:
You make me smile Your desire to make me smile makes me smile. I love you too my daughter. You are right, every time one person receives the forgiveness that I bought for them, we rejoice in heaven. There is nothing better. I love to see my kids come home. The souls that were saved tonight are so precious to me. I love them so much and I have waited so long for them.
Much of life is so serious. We must take the moments to laugh, to celebrate, to enjoy the wonderful things, the beautiful things, the precious things. Once in awhile, step out of the struggle you are in and just enjoy life. Enjoy the blessings. I promise they are always there. Sometimes they are covered by the mess that you are in. They can be covered by the garbage that has landed on your life. But push the garbage aside once in awhile and find the treasure, the blessing, the joy that I have for you and enjoy it. Enjoy life. It is ok. Even in the midst of the garbage, it is ok. It is ok to laugh with me. It is ok to celebrate with me. It is ok to enjoy life with me, even in the midst of the garbage.
I am your joy and your strength and I will always make sure to have blessings in your life. Search them out and enjoy life.
My prayer:
My God, Father, King of all Kings, maker of everything. It is so crazy to think that you, as great and unthinkably amazing as you are, love me, care about me, died for me. I think that is why it is so hard for many of us to come to you in the first place. It doesn't make logical sense that you, being you, would care about me. I am a tiny speck. I am nothing really. Why would you care? Why would you die for me? And yet, I know it is true. You tell me in so many ways.
Maybe it is because I don't have my own children that it is hard for me to understand. Maybe if I had my own kids I would understand better the love that comes from creating a person. Maybe I would better understand that mother's or father's love that cannot be denied. Maybe it is easier for people with kids to understand and believe that you love them no matter what. Not because of anything they have done but because they exist and because you created them. Maybe.
I may not understand it fully but I believe it. There would be no reason for you to lie to me about something like that. You tell me in so many ways how you love me. I appreciate every one of them God. Because I have a hard time understanding that kind of love, I need to hear that you love me frequently. I need to see it. I need to experience it. Without those reassurances, I can begin to doubt. I am sorry for my weakness God but you say it is in our weakness that you are made strong. Be strong in me God.
What God Said Tonight:
I am your strength. I am a strong tower that you can run to. I am more powerful than any force in the universe and I am on your side. I will always fight for you. I will always strengthen you.
I do love you more than I can tell you. I love you so much it is like a white blanketing snow that covers everything else. The shapes underneath the snow are blurred until it becomes one soft pure white expanse. That is what my love is like. The details, the actions, the sins, the shape of your life becomes blurred in that blanket of love. It is covered in my love for you until it is pure, white and holy.
I love you to the end of time, covered in my blood and protected by my strength. Rest tonight in complete assurance of my love. Face tomorrow in the same assurance. My sweet daughter, you are so precious to me. Rubies pale in comparison. Gold is a poor and clouded reflection of your worth. Diamonds cannot begin to sparkle enough to show off your worth. I love you with all that I am.

My God. You have put such amazing and talented people in my life. Sometimes I just stand in awe and look around me. Your gifts in your people are so beautiful. Whether it is singing, playing an instrument, teaching, encouraging, giving, loving, preaching, wisdom, artistic expression or something else, the gift itself is not what amazes me so much, but the vast amount of gift that you have given us amazes me. When we learn how to use and live in that gift and let you really work through us, the results are incredible.
Maybe you have given everyone in the world these gifts. I don't know everyone but I know from looking around me that you have given an amazing amount of gifts to the people you have put in my life. I feel like you have surrounded me with greatness. It keeps a girl humble!
Thank you for surrounding me with your greatness God. Thank you for surrounding me with people that you have filled to the brim with your greatness. Thank you God for your gifts. I love you!!
What God Said Tonight:
Gifts. Life is a gift. Life is a choice and life is a gift. You did not earn the right to be born. You do not can not earn the right to wake up in the morning. It is a gift. The people who recognize the gifts in their lives and recognize me as the gift giver are most likely to get more gifts. I can pour out gifts on the people who remain humble. I cannot pour out the gifts on the people who become proud because it will destroy them.
Remember that my motivation for everything I do is my love for you. My motivation is my love for my children. I will never do anything to harm you and I will do everything possible for your good. I have given you the gifts that I need you to have. I have given you the gifts that have the best possibility of blessing you and making you all that you can be. I have given you the gifts and the tools. Your job is to use them and become proficient with them.
I love you so much daughter. I haven't told you that enough lately. I love you to the very depth of who I am. At the very source of me is my love for you. It is the purpose and the reason for everything I do. I love you for who you are, not what you do. I love you because you are mine, not because you are good. I love you because I can't help it. I created you to love you.
You are so precious and spending time with you is one of my favorite things to do. Can we spend more time together? I will multiply your time if you give it to me but I want more of your time. Not doing anything, just being together. We are doing a lot right now which is good and necessary but I don't want to lose the intimacy with you in the process. I don't want to lose the deep connection. I want us to be even closer tomorrow than we were today. To make that happen though it needs to be your choice. I can ask, but I need you to draw closer to me and I will draw closer to you. Are you willing?

Life is an opportunity. It is an opportunity to make the right choices. It is an opportunity to love. It is an opportunity to use your free will for good. You are designed and created to have choices. Life is your opportunity to use those choices.
Recognize the choices you have in every day, in every minute. Life is your choice. What you make of your life is your choice. Who you choose to bless and curse are your choice. Who you will believe and who you will follow are your choice. Choosing not to chose is your choice.
I want you to make good choices daughter. Choices that enhance your life and ensure your future. I want you to make choices that bring blessings to you. I want you to make choices that bless other people. I want you to chose me and my way every minute. Chose the things that I love. Chose to always follow my instruction. Choose me every minute as I have chosen you. Use this life, this opportunity to choose me and my ways.
