God's will...

 

My prayer:

Amazing God. Each day I am more and more convinced that my only true prayer and my only true wish is that your will is done in everything. Your will, which is greater and grander than anything I can imagine. Your will that is better for me than what I can imagine for myself. Your will that takes into account the full Kingdom of God, not just one life and one person, but which also ensures that the one person has every need fulfilled and is blessed to overflowing. That is it God. I pray for your will to be done, in all things, everywhere. As a disciple of the Christ Messiah, AMEN.

What God Said Tonight:

I hear you and my will is established.

Seasons of life....

 

My prayer:

Thank you for an amazing week of rest God. I loved it, almost too much! I know you have told me that it is not time yet for retirement but weeks like today make it seem really attractive. Thank you for the time to get the projects done, the time to go on some adventures, and the time to rest. 

I also thank you for the wisdom you gave me this week. There were some fundamental things that I know, but somehow had stopped relying on those truths and therefore was not relying on you. Thank you for pointing it out God and I have turned from that and back to full faith in you, for all things. 

I pray and ask for your help tomorrow going back into the work week. I don't know what all is waiting for me but I am certain, I will need you, your wisdom, your peace, your guidance, and your favor to get through it all.

You are my Lord and I am so grateful for you!!!!

What God Said Tonight:

Life has seasons and cycles. All of them are important and all have different purposes . You have just come through a short season of rest and will walk back into a season of work and purpose. Both have their place and their importance. One would not be more or less if the other did not exists but each help to appreciate the other. 

Recognize the cycles and seasons of your life and you can find your full contentment in each. I love you daughter and I am with you always.

My prayer:

Sweet Father, thank you for this weekend and the joy and the rest you have given me. I pray, in this next week, that you help me find the peace and restoration that has been missing a bit. I pray above all things that your will is done. Guide me, direct me, help me to see what you have for my life. I love you Lord, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

There is nothing t do this week that cannot wait. I have you slowed down, carefully, for a time of rest and that time is now. I will always speak to you. I will always guide you. But this week is about resting in my spirit. 

Through faith...

 

My prayer:

When I look to last week's prayer and see all that you have done in 7 days time...I am in awe. You are incredible. You can take a situation that seems hopeless and turn it around to where I can barely remember the struggle. I can barely remember why I was so worried. 

Thank you for always finding a way through for me God. Thank you for always having the answer. I love you and I love being your daughter.

What God Said Tonight:

Today is not the end of your struggles and challenges. This world will find new ways, or more likely old ways repeated, to try to tear you down. It is a natural result of being my child. 

I cannot keep those challenges from you but I can and will always provide you a way through them. You can count on that one thing. I will always guide you through them and we will always win in the end. 

I know you would often rather not go through it at all. To live a life in perfect peace with no strife. But that is not how this world is made. I can offer you that perfect peace but it is through faith in me. It is through faith that I will never leave you. It is through faith that I will always have the answer. It is through faith that I, that we, will always win. 

That is where you will find peace in this world. 

I love you my sweet daughter. Rest in your faith.
