Mosaic...

My prayer:

Awesome God. This day had a whole lot of EVERYTHING in it. Good and bad, hot and cold, sucess and failure. I was definitely not bored! Thank you for the opportunities to be a blessing to a couple of people today God. Thank you for loving me and making me succeed. 

What God Said Tonight:

There is great beauty in a mosaic, a picture that is made up of a lot of other smaller pictures. It can appear very differently depending on your perspective. When you are close and looking at each individual tile, it looks one way but when you step back and look at the whole picture, it looks completely different. When you don't have the ability to step back and see the bigger picture, you miss out on so much. 

Your life is very much the same. When you look at each individual event in isolation, you see things one way. But, if you can take a step back, you can often start to see a bigger pattern to all of the events in your life. 

Today, you had a lot of isolated events that if you focus only on each event, especially the tough ones, you will get a very shallow and limited view. But, take a step back with me and see how it all flows together for your bigger picture and for the world's bigger picture and to the universe's bigger picture and ultimately to my bigger picture. Each level shows you something different. 

I love you. Don't loose your perspective of he big picture by getting tied up in the small events.

Thank you God for...well you know.

What God Said Tonight:

Everyone has a part in the Kingdom of God. Every part is important. Every opportunity to love in my name, is important.

Ministry is more than the big flashy miracles that you love. Sometimes ministry is stepping up to take care of someone that no one else is willing to take care of. Sometimes ministry is putting aside your own agenda to be available for someone else who needs you. Sometimes ministry is loving the one person that is most unloveable.

Your destiny and your call is to be of my Kingdom, doing my ministry; but, using my definitions of both, not the limited definitions those words have become in the world.

I love you and you are right where I need you.

Last days Army...

My prayer:

Woderful friend. I am wiped out tonight. I need you and need yor voice. I need to remmeber that I am a part of your buigger plan and that every day, even the ones that seem to have no purpose, are a part of your purpose.

God, help me to see your purpose and plan in my life every day. Make me a blessing to those around me. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

While you can only truly see this moment and your past, I can see tomorrow. I can see where you are going.

You can always have hope and have faith that I am working things out because I have already seen the end.

I can use you and your life in unique ways you have never even considered. I am coming into a new age where just going to church will not cut it anymore. I am looking for and recruiting my army for the last days, the last battle. I am determined that not one of you die in that battle.

Loving Father...

Thanks for a great weekend God! You were so very generous to me this weekend.

Thanks for providing everything I needed, even the stuff I didn't know I needed. Thank you for your healing power. Thank you for your loving, giving Spirit!

What God Said Tonight:

I know the end from the beginning and I knew you in your mother's womb. I am all knowing. I use that knowledge for your benefit because you are my precious child.

What parent wouldn't use everything they know to help their child? Even animals in the wild use all they know to help their children survive and strive. 

I am at the least a loving Father. I am more, but I am at the core, a loving Father.

Beginnings...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I want to thank you tonight for wonderful friends who provide me with perspective. There is always more than one way of looking at a situation. However, when I am knee deep in the situation, I can forget that.

Thank you for friends who always point out the silver lining! They are awfully good for my attitude. Thank you Jesus!

What God Said Tonight:

I have placed you in places and with people with a purpose and a plan. There are no accidents in your life

You are mine and I have intentionally placed you. moved you, taken you through this life.

The life you are living is not over, it is beginning. All that you have seen, and done, and experienced will be part of the proving ground that will propel you into the next phase.

Your life, your life in me, is a journey and a process that will never end. You are eternal in me. Your time is not limited, with me.

All of God...

My prayer:

My awesome Lord. I need some good, quiet, intense worship time with you God. I have missed the experience of your overwhelming power and love. I love our quiet and sweet times together but I am craving your glory and your power.

I love you God and continue to wait with great expectation for what you want to do next.

What God Said Tonight:

I do not change and all of me is available to you at any time. You only need to ask and receive.

I am in you. I love you. I will take care of you. I will guide you and I will teach you. I will show my glory through you. My power will go before you. My Spirit will be your guide.

All of me is open and available for you my sweet child. Come, partake of all that I am.

Temporary loss...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I have so many friends whose parents have recently died or are in the hospital right now and I know you have heard the prayers for each of them. But, I feel the need to lift them up again tonight.

All of the people who have loved ones who are seriously ill or have recently passed on, I pray your peace and comfort on the families. I pray that each one who has moved on, had the chance and took the chance to choose you and are right now living it up in heaven with you.

I pray healing and/or release, according to your will for those in the hospital. I pray for strength and intense comfort for all.

Thank you God that with you, death is not the end.

What God Said Tonight:

It is a celebration here in heaven each time one of my children come home. We eagerly await the  close  communion with our children. The angels prepare, every moment, to receive and to celebrate those who  come to us.

I am your comfort and peace. I know the loss, the feeling of despair when someone you love so dearly is taken from you. The brief moment when I was seperated from my son was one of the most painful things I can ever imagine.

I will comfort you in loss. But do remember, it is a temporary loss and that I am taking care of your parents. I have them close at hand.
