Opportunities...

My prayer:

Thank you God for divine appointments! I love how I can just be walking through my day and suddenly, there is an opportunity to let someone know how much you love them. YOU ARE WONDERFUL!!!

What God Said Tonight:

I have so many opportunities in front of you all of the time. I am grateful for when you recognize them. But know that there are many more that are waiting for you to see them. 

I bring you, in every breath of your life, the opportunity to love people and share my love with them. Just make sure to get out of your tunnel vision once and a while and you will see them. They are all around you and desperate for my love.

Destination...

My prayer:

We made it!!! Thank you Jesus!!! This was quite a week but tomorrow is Friday and Sunday's a comin' (as they say)! 

Thank you for strength, favor, guidance and direction. You are wonderful and I have joy and peace in the middle of the craziness ONLY because I have you in me and I get to call on you any time. 

I LOVE YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

Your life and your path have a destination but there are many ways to get there. Some are more direct and some are more circuitous but they all get you to the destination. 

Your destination is solid, it is secured. You are ending in heaven with me for eternity. I have a special place picked out for you. I have build you a house and it waits for you. Never doubt the destination. It is the path to get there which you get to make choices. 

Those choices determine much of your experience on the journey. I love watching you make those choices and I love blessing you in your choices. I love pouring out favor on you. I love putting you in the right pace at the right time. I love seeing what you do with all of that. 

It is the joy of a proud parent watching their child grow and mature. Let's have some more fun tomorrow.

God wins...

My prayer:

Mighty and amazing God of all creation. I am spent from the long hours this week. Not sure my thoughts are even making sense. But I love you and I am always ready to listen...

What God Said Tonight:

I walked through the valley of the shadow of death and death lost. I took on the sickness of all humanity and sickness lost. I took on sin of everyone whoever was or ever will be and sin lost. 

When anything comes against me, it loses. I am for you so, when anything comes against you, it will lose. 

I will see you blessed and prospered. I will see your enemies defeated. I will never let you down. 

Sleep now and let me watch over you. My protection is foolproof and forever.

Provider...

My prayer:

Sometimes the experience of life is pure joy. It does not happen often, but once in awhile, when even though I know that not everything is right, there is still this moment of pure bliss. I love those moments God. I love when you pour out peace, love and joy that over power anything that is going on. 

Thank you for your overpowering presence!

What God Said Tonight:

I am your everything. You can count on me for everything you need and everything you want. I am your all. I am your provider. I am your salvation. I am the love that conquers all. I am your saviour. 

What do you need right now? I am that. 

I love you and I will never tire of providing for you. It is my great joy, whatever your need. Lean on me in all things and I will provide for you. 

Made of love...

My prayer:

God, thank you for the love you are bringing into my life. Thank you for what you are teaching me about love. Thank you most of all for loving me. 

I pray and ask for more God. More love, more understanding of love, more ability to love. Because, truly, without love, I am nothing, my life is nothing, my accomplishments are nothing. 

Sorry to get all dramatic but I am understanding the truth of this in a whole new way. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I am love. I am the substance of love. I love without thinking because it is who I am. 

You are made in our image. You are made in the image of love. Now, it is just a process of reminding you of your true nature. 

Sin and this world have covered you with dirt and scars and have obscured the love that you are made of and from. My blood has washed away the dirt. Now my love will heal the scars. When they are gone, you will see and remember who you were created to be. You will remember love. 

Until then, let me love you and learn all that you can so you will recognize it when you see it in you. 

Truth and lies...

My prayer:

God, I pray for increased discernment of truth. This world is so full of lies and misdirections, it makes it very hard to make good decisions and to know what to do. God, you are the truth. Help me to discern that truth in every situation. 

God, I bind deceit in my life and the lives of those around me who want this too, in the name of Jesus. I loose your truth in this world. 

What God Said Tonight:

The truth is not so hard to find. It is wherever I am, wherever my light and my power reign, there is where you will find truth.

The father of all lies still walks on the earth and is desperately trying to spin his deception around my children. It is a plot to destroy you but it will not succeed. 

You, keep hold of me. Keep hold of truth and the devil will be defeated. His lies will be shown in my light. He will be brought down. 

Brokenness, wholeness and love...

My prayer:

Dearest Lord. Heal our brokenness. Make us whole. Teach us to love like you do. Please.

What God Said Tonight:

Your tears I have saved, not just because I love you but also because they become the base of the balm that heals you. Your brokenness requires a resetting to occur furst. That is the part that can hurt. I do it slowly and only when you are ready because it does hurt and I only want to have to do it once. 

Your brokenness, once reset, needs to be held in place for a while, like a cast on a broken bone. That time is very fragile and it requires protection. At the end of the time of protection, the place of brokenness is healed and stronger than the bone was in the first place. This is the way of healing for brokenness. 

Your wholeness is in me. Let me be whatever you are not. 

Your love training will never end. But the great news about that is your only job is to let me love you. As you do, my love takes root and you love others. 

Really, it is that simple and that complicated all at the same time. I love you and I hear your prayer.
