God wins...

My prayer:

Mighty and amazing God of all creation. I am spent from the long hours this week. Not sure my thoughts are even making sense. But I love you and I am always ready to listen...

What God Said Tonight:

I walked through the valley of the shadow of death and death lost. I took on the sickness of all humanity and sickness lost. I took on sin of everyone whoever was or ever will be and sin lost. 

When anything comes against me, it loses. I am for you so, when anything comes against you, it will lose. 

I will see you blessed and prospered. I will see your enemies defeated. I will never let you down. 

Sleep now and let me watch over you. My protection is foolproof and forever.

Provider...

My prayer:

Sometimes the experience of life is pure joy. It does not happen often, but once in awhile, when even though I know that not everything is right, there is still this moment of pure bliss. I love those moments God. I love when you pour out peace, love and joy that over power anything that is going on. 

Thank you for your overpowering presence!

What God Said Tonight:

I am your everything. You can count on me for everything you need and everything you want. I am your all. I am your provider. I am your salvation. I am the love that conquers all. I am your saviour. 

What do you need right now? I am that. 

I love you and I will never tire of providing for you. It is my great joy, whatever your need. Lean on me in all things and I will provide for you. 

Made of love...

My prayer:

God, thank you for the love you are bringing into my life. Thank you for what you are teaching me about love. Thank you most of all for loving me. 

I pray and ask for more God. More love, more understanding of love, more ability to love. Because, truly, without love, I am nothing, my life is nothing, my accomplishments are nothing. 

Sorry to get all dramatic but I am understanding the truth of this in a whole new way. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I am love. I am the substance of love. I love without thinking because it is who I am. 

You are made in our image. You are made in the image of love. Now, it is just a process of reminding you of your true nature. 

Sin and this world have covered you with dirt and scars and have obscured the love that you are made of and from. My blood has washed away the dirt. Now my love will heal the scars. When they are gone, you will see and remember who you were created to be. You will remember love. 

Until then, let me love you and learn all that you can so you will recognize it when you see it in you. 

Truth and lies...

My prayer:

God, I pray for increased discernment of truth. This world is so full of lies and misdirections, it makes it very hard to make good decisions and to know what to do. God, you are the truth. Help me to discern that truth in every situation. 

God, I bind deceit in my life and the lives of those around me who want this too, in the name of Jesus. I loose your truth in this world. 

What God Said Tonight:

The truth is not so hard to find. It is wherever I am, wherever my light and my power reign, there is where you will find truth.

The father of all lies still walks on the earth and is desperately trying to spin his deception around my children. It is a plot to destroy you but it will not succeed. 

You, keep hold of me. Keep hold of truth and the devil will be defeated. His lies will be shown in my light. He will be brought down. 

Brokenness, wholeness and love...

My prayer:

Dearest Lord. Heal our brokenness. Make us whole. Teach us to love like you do. Please.

What God Said Tonight:

Your tears I have saved, not just because I love you but also because they become the base of the balm that heals you. Your brokenness requires a resetting to occur furst. That is the part that can hurt. I do it slowly and only when you are ready because it does hurt and I only want to have to do it once. 

Your brokenness, once reset, needs to be held in place for a while, like a cast on a broken bone. That time is very fragile and it requires protection. At the end of the time of protection, the place of brokenness is healed and stronger than the bone was in the first place. This is the way of healing for brokenness. 

Your wholeness is in me. Let me be whatever you are not. 

Your love training will never end. But the great news about that is your only job is to let me love you. As you do, my love takes root and you love others. 

Really, it is that simple and that complicated all at the same time. I love you and I hear your prayer.

God's love...

My prayer:

Thank you for the wonderful gift today God. You are so amazing and generous. You are mine and I am yours, now and forever. 

I am so beyond grateful for you God. Your love makes life worth living. Your protection makes life possible. Your sacrifice makes everything possible. 

What God Said Tonight:

Gentle light shining on your face, that is me shining my glory on you. Sweet breezes in your hair. That is my presence caressing you. Leaves rustling, water flowing over the rocks, those are aspects of my voice speaking to you. 

I am all around you, all of the time. I am in you and around and I love you more than you will know. I will never leave you and I will never stop loving you. I will only find new and more ways to show you that love. 

I am yours and you are mine, now and forever, we are one.

Bring what you have...

My prayer:

I feel so boring God. I can't think of anything to talk about with you tonight. It seems like I am just trying to get through each day right now and it does not leave a lot of time to think. 

I am very grateful for you in my life, your favor, your divine health. I can't imagine how hard life would be if I didn't have you and your love on my side. But, I feel like I tell you that all the time. You must get bored of it after a while. I sometimes wish I knew more words or even more languages so I could praise you in new ways.

Sorry to be so boring tonight God. Thanks for putting up with me. Can't wait to hear what you have to say. 

What God Said Tonight:

I am not bored with you. I cannot be bored with the child of my heart. 

I don't always need you to talk when we pray. I have many other ways for us to be together and to be in fellowship with each other. I am happy even when we are silent with each other. Sometimes those are the best times for me. When everything is still and it is just you and me, focussing on each other. 

Think of the times when you have been laid out at the alter. So may times when you were not praying a word, sometimes in the Spirit, but no words. Those were wonderfully intense times for us. 

So, if you want to talk, talk. If you want to sing, sing, If you want to stay silent, stay silent. But bring what you have to me. For each day, each night, take some time to invite me along. I will go with you anywhere.
