Enjoy...

My prayer:

Thank you God for laughter! There are few things better after a long and stressful day than being able to laugh until tears come out of your eyes. Thank you for joy. Thank you for fun. Thank you for a life that is not all struggle and striving; but a life with some times to just enjoy and have fun!

What God Said Tonight:

Enjoy your life every second that you can. There is coming a time where those moments to enjoy are few and far between. But, as long as you are children of the Most High God, there will always be something to enjoy. Always something to celebrate. There will always be a victory. Either just won, about to be won, or in the midst of being won. There is always a place to find joy in me. 

Enjoy the sunrise, I made it for you. Enjoy the sunset, it shines for you. Enjoy the breeze, it blows for you. I created the world for my children. Enjoy every minute of it. 

Why pray?

My prayer:

God, I love living life with you. 

Thank you for your help today. Not that long ago, if something like that happened to me, I would have really lost it. But, just a few minutes to walk away and ask for your help, you gave me peace and direction and you worked it all out. Like you always do. 

Thank you for taking such good care of me God. Each day with you is better than ten lifetimes without you. 

What God Said Tonight:

I am your ever present help in time of trouble. You are my child, of course I will help you whenever you need it. 

I won't jump in without your permission though. I need you to ask, to invite me in. I created you with free will and I will respect that will. I will respect you. But, when you decide you want my help, I am never  more than a prayer second away from being there, helping you, and working everything for your good. But, I do need you to ask. 

I need you to ask for others as well. That is why your prayers for others are so important. Especially your prayers for people who can't pray for themselves, for whatever reason. Maybe they are too sick. Maybe tey are too hurt, emotionally, spiritually. Maybe they don't know how or that they can. Maybe they don't even know me. In those cases, in those times, when you intercede and pray for them, it opens the door for me to go in and help. 

Don't forget to pray. Don't forget to ask. It is VERY important.

Holy Spirit knowledge...

My prayer:

Wonderful Father. The older I get, the more things I know about but the less sure I am that I am right about anything. Even you. I know more about you today than I ever have before, but each new thing I learn about you makes me realize how incompletely I knew you yesterday and how much better I will know you tomorrow. 

Maybe that is part of where maturity comes from? The understanding that what I know today is more than I knew yesterday and less than I will know tomorrow and that all that I will ever know is nothing more than a splinter of what you know.

God, thank you for all that you have taught me. I pray and ask for discernment in the situations and challenges that come against me and the people I love. I ask that this discernment be out of your knowledge, not mine, so that it is truth and can actually help. Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

I am the keeper of all knowledge and the author of truth. I can only speak truth. I am the source of all true knowledge. And, I have sent you my Holy Spirit to share that truth with you and to help you. 

The Holy Spirit is my way of sharing my knowledge and the truth with you on a daily basis. It is my way of communicating with you while you remain on this earth. Without the Holy Spirit in you, you are handicapped and fighting the fight of faith with less intelligence and less weaponry than what you should and need to have. 

Always allow my Holy Spirit to be active in you so you have all of the benefits of my knowledge as you face this world and all of its challenges. Let me help you. Don't shut me out and don't ignore my promptings. They are ALL for your good. 

Love you sweet chid. I will teach you all that you need to know in the season that you need to know it. We are in this together.

God's voice...

My prayer:

Today wiped me out God. All I want to do tonight is to hear your sweet voice and then go to sleep. LOVE YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

My voice is never silent but you have to listen to hear it. I don't shout and I don't force my way into your thoughts. I am always available but you have to invite me in, you have to pause to listen, you have to be willing to hear me. 

I don't require so much of you but I do require your belief and your time. 

Worship...

My prayer:

All glory to and for you God. I know we/I say that all the time but for some reason, tonight I mean it in a way I never have before. All glory and honor to you God! You are so truly incredible.

The purity of your love is beyond my ability to fully understand. Thank you for softening my heart. Thank you for healing me so that I can find that lost love in me. Thank you for being love and showing me/us the sweet peace and strength that comes from truly being loved.

God, help me to learn to love like you do. Help me to receive the love you have for me. There is nothing better than your love. There is nothing more wonderful than you. Thank you for loving me.

What God Said Tonight:

Mmmm, what a sweet fragrance your worship is. I want you to know how much your worship and love means to me. I still everything so I can listen. I stop the world so I can hear you.

I love you my child and I will never stop. My love is yours and cannot be separated from you, ever.  

Season of joy...

My prayer:

My mind is wandering so much tonight God I am having a hard time focusing on what I want to talk about with you. Everything seems so good and new and wonderful. It is fun just living life right now. 

I would like to somehow bottle this experience so I can pull it out every time I get down, every time things get boring, every time life seems too hard to put up with. I want to protect it. 

This last season was pretty tough and this season more than makes up for it...can we stay in this season for awhile?

What God Said Tonight:

The season you are in, the season of joy, the season of healing, the season of restoration is one that will last the rest of your life. You will always be in need of healing and restoration as long as you are living in a world whose goals and intentions are contrary to my Kingdom. 

I have these pockets of joy scattered around you and your life. They are precious and should be cherished but I have plenty of them. You will not run out of joy, as long as you are looking to me for joy. You will not run out of strength as long as you are looking to me for strength. You will not run out of provision as long as you are looking to me for your provision. 

The best, and only way to prolong this season is to look to me to renew, refresh, restore, and fill you with the joy and love that I have for you each day. Open wide to receive, I am pouring it in to you right now.And, I have plenty.

God's love...

My prayer:

Such a beautiful time with you and friends tonight God. I love the people you put in my life. I especially love spending time in your presence and loving you. God I pray for your love to go out over the world tonight like a big wave, blanketing your people. Let them get a glimpse of what they mean to you and how much you love them.

What God Said Tonight:

I love the best and the worst in you. 

My love is not dependent on your value. My love gives you value. My love is not determined by your actions, my love directs your actions. 

My love for you always has been and always will be. I will NEVER stop loving you. I will ALWAYS love every part of you. I don't only love the good, easy parts. I love all of you, all the time, even when you don't love me. 

You are my precious child and I will never forget you. I will never leave you behind.
