Smallest actions...

My prayer:

Made it through another gauntlet of a day God, thanks only to you. Thank you for the unexpected successes today and thank you for walking me through the challenges. 

I am with you Jesus. Whatever you want to do. Wherever you want to go. Whenever you want to go...I am with you. I am on your side, your team, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

I so wish you could see things as I see them. Today is a great example. There were so many things today that you barely noticed but which had great significance. 

One smile, one kind word, one choice to follow my lead, made all the difference. 

You have heard of the butterfly theory. It is very true. Sometimes it is the very smallest of actions that result in the biggest changes. 

My plans for you are woven together in perfect balance to achieve great things for the Kingdom and great things for you. Trust and know that even the littlest things in your life have purpose and meaning. Stay ever alert to my voice, my direction, even in the smallest of things.

Spiritual war...

My prayer:

Awesome God. It seems like everywhere I go the last couple of days people are SO STRESSED and ANGRY. I don't know if it is worse than usual or if I am just noticing it. I also notice it in myself. I am getting irritated by things that normally wouldn't even phase me. There are a lot of really crazy things going on in the world right now and maybe it is all just getting to us more than usual.

I am not completely sure of the source but I am completely sure of the answer.

God, I ask for your peace to overwhelm us. Please give us that peace that passes all understanding. Wrap you arms around your kids and help us to remember that you are in charge. Help us to treat others with kindness and grace, not intolerance and anger. 

Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

There is a spiritual blanket of chaos and fear that is over your nation and over much of the world right now. There are battles occurring in the spiritual realm that are sparking fear, anger, and hurt in the natural world. 

The battles are necessary and we win the war in the end. 

In the meantime, you are safe in my arms. Keep yourself wrapped in my Spirit and my Word. Keep yourself rooted in the assurance of my love for you. 

In your anger, in your fear, turn to me and let me give you beauty for ashes. Let me trade in your anger for peace and faith for your fear. I love you. I am with you. This season is not how it will always be. But even in this, you are protected and will be kept whole.

Ocean...

My prayer:

Thanks for today God. It was pretty wonderful. 

Tomorrow we start another week and you know there are a lot of things that I need you help with. Some I know about and a lot more that I don't know about yet but you do. 

Thank you for being my ever present help. Thank you for having your will accomplished in my life. Thank you for undeserved favor. Thank you for the confidence that I can have going into this week knowing that you are on my side. 

What God Said Tonight:

Your life is like the ocean. Sometimes it is rough and sometimes it is smooth but it is always moving. There is always more going on beneath the surface than what people see. And, it is controlled by forces bigger than you can imagine and which you cannot see.

Trust me to be your anchor and your lighthouse. Trust me to navigate you through the storms and take you to calm waters. Trust me to lead you to paradise.

I love you daughter and we have some pretty wonderful things to see this week. Get ready.

Great faith...

My prayer:

Awesome God. Thank you so much for all of your help today. It was crazy and without you I am not sure I would have made it through but, with you, everything got taken care of that needed it. You always have what I need when I need it. Sometimes I wish you could give it to me a little earlier, but you always get it to me on time. :)

What God Said Tonight:

I never promised to be early. But I do promise to be on time. Early doesn't require faith and building your faith is of great importance to me. 

Faith can move mountains. I want you to have the strength and power that comes from great faith. But, great faith comes from challenges and needing to rely on me. 

I will always bring you through. I will always be there. Do not get intimidated by the circumstances. I am on your side, always.

Infinite strength...

My prayer:

Life is exhausting sometimes God, Not that it is bad. I mean sometimes it is exhausting because of wonderful things happening. But, it is often exhausting. And, sometimes, like tonight, I just want to get off for awhile. I want to escape. I want to run away to a private island where no one can find me. I feel weak and pitiful to admit it but there it is. 

If I am going to face tomorrow, I need your strength and your restoration. Truth is I need that everyday. Without it, I would have quit a long time ago. 

Thank you God for always being there for me and for always having just what I need for each day, each moment. Love you.

What God Said Tonight:

You are relying on me for your very breath. You are relying on me to get through each moment. That is not a place of weakness. You are relying on the most high God. That is a place of infinite strength. That is a a place that will never leave you hanging. 

I am yours and you are mine. My strength is yours. My joy is yours. My energy is yours. My everything is yours. 

I love you and you are my child. You have an inheritance that is already yours. I love you, I am here for you and I will give you what you need, everyday.

God's request...

Nothing much to say tonight God but always ready to listen. Love yoU!

What God Said Tonight:

I have seen great beauty. I have sen great kindness. I have seen so many things that point to the origin of humanity in me. I also see the  corruption of sin. I see the suffering. I see the wounded and I see those who are wounding. 

I set into place a plan many years ago to return us to a world of goodness, mercy and grace. A world where you and I can walk together through the garden. A day when you won't ever have to ask, "Are you still there God?" because you will see me, face to face. I am anxious for that day. I have missed having those times together, without the distraction of sin. 

But, in truth, it is not too much different than what we have today. I am in you and you are in me and there is not greater intimacy than that. Seeing each other face to face will just be one more layer of a wonderful relationship. 

Until that day, please continue to meet with me each day. Continue to find that time to listen for my voice. I have so much to share with you. I want to make this hard life easier. I can help you through.
