100% trust in God...

My prayer:

Bad dreams, rotten day, but a pretty good night tonight God. Thank you for giving me peace after the dreams, getting me through the rottenness and for reminding me tonight that you always bring things around in the end. 

Life without you is unthinkable. Life with you is crazy but wonderful. 

Thank you for the adventure God. Don't let go of me, no matter what.

What God Said Tonight:

I am with you. I am with you. I am with you. I am in you. I will never leave you. No matter what you go through, good bad indifferent, I am with you. You say you can get through anything if I am with you. I say I am always with you and will never leave you. 

I am the only true thing you can trust in 100%. I will never let you down. 

I am teaching you things now that I have wanted you to know for so very long. But you were not prepared until now. You were not open. But now, here you are and here we are and the next few days, months, and years are going to be an amazing time of you getting to know me, my will, my nature, better than ever. 

When you know those things, it is not hard to believe. It is not hard to trust. And, your future is secured. 

I truly do love you more than you can ever know. I will never leave you because I can't. One, I made a promise and I don't every break promises but two, I we are one now. There is no you without me. 

Deeper roots...

My prayer:

Thank you God for the new insight today. Thank you for a Pastor who can teach an old dog like me something new. Thank you for being so big and amazing that there is always more to learn. I love that I can never get bored with you, unless I stop trying to know you better. You are so wonderful.

What God Said Tonight:

I have said it all before but each time you listen with ears to hear, you will gain a deeper understanding. 

That is the key to our relationship now. Each new insight, each new day, we will go deeper. You will go deeper in me and I will go deeper in you. I have rooted myself in you and you have rooted your self in me. 

As the roots grow, so does the fruit. You will see great fruit from this deeper root. You will see an abundance of fruit. 

You will also see that this deep root will not die. You will only go deeper. You will not be uprooted. You will not be withered in the sun. You will not be frozen out in the cold. With roots like this, You can survive any hardship and any season. 

Nothing can take you out with your roots so deep in me. I will not allow it. 

Love conquers cruelty...

My prayer:

Today was pretty wonderful God. Thank you! I am physically exhausted but emotionally energized by the generosity I got to see today. It is true that we don't always treat each other so well on this earth, but every once in awhile, I get to see something that restores my faith in people. Today was one of those days. Thank you for letting me be a part of it.

What God Said Tonight:

I sent my son and he had to be born in a stable with the animals. I sent my son and he had to be sacrificed by the very people that he came to save. You do not have to tell me about the cruelty in the world. 

The truth is though, my love will triumph over the pain every time. My love is stronger and more resilient than any pain, torture, or heartbreak. Nothing can out last my love. 

I have set my love in you. Some days, like today, it comes out and spreads around to others. Those are good days. I love you sweet daughter. You are mine and I am yours, now and forever.

God's purpose...

My prayer:

Wonderful worship tonight God. Thank you for the time, the space and the people, all focused on you. Thank you for moving, thank you for healing, thank you for wisdom, thank you for the word on Boaz. 

You always bring us everything we need. Even the stuff we don't realize we need. You are such a GOOD DADDY!!

What God Said Tonight:

I have come for a purpose, really just one purpose. To love you. 

People spend so much time wondering about my will and my purpose. I really just have the one will and purpose. To love you. 

I have a purpose and an assignment for you, that is true. I have a plan that involves more people getting to me and letting me love them.  But the underlying purpose, plan, and mission is for me to love you. 

Don't make it more complicated. It doesn't have to be any deeper than that. Me loving you. That is the core that everything else stems from. Get fully centered in my love for you and watch the world change.

The wave...

My prayer:

Mmmmmmmmmm. Yes God. You and me right here and right now. That is everything to me. You and me in this moment. The world swirls around with its problems and its challenges. But for this moment, I sit with you in the eye of the storm, at peace and in love with you.

What God Said Tonight:

A wave is coming that will carry you forward. A wave of love, a wave of purpose. I have you perfectly positioned to be picked up in the wave when it comes. I have you prepared to ride the wave when it comes. I have you unburdened for the wave when it comes. 

It is you and me, now and forever. I am in you. Remember that you don't have to find me, I am found. You don't have to conger me out of thin air. I am in you. I live and dwell in you. I love you more than you can know. 

Art of God...

My prayer:

God, I love the people you have put in my life! At work, family, friends, everybody. You have surrounded me with truly excellent people and I am very grateful. It makes life a lot more fun to live it with people who are awesome. Some of the greatest blessings you have given me have been the people you have put in my life. Feeling mighty blessed!

What God Said Tonight:

Each person is like a piece of art. They are all made of similar but different mediums. They all look different and even have different intents, but they are all beautiful. Maybe not to all people all of the time, but they are all beautiful. 

 

Uncomfortable...

My prayer:

Off. Everything just feels about 5 degrees left of center God. Nothing horrible, just not quite right. It is uncomfortable. I am itching for the next new thing, that is for sure. But this seems different. Something is off.  

God, I ask for wisdom. Help me to understand what is going on and what, if anything I should do. Thanks for always letting me bring you anything, no matter how vague or how weird. LOVE YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

I am in you and you are in me. Everything else is just details. 

Nothing is really off. You are only preparing to move, to change. You are sensing that things are not going to stay as they are and part of you is already ready. 

I didn't really create you to be comfortable all the time. Yes, we have seasons of rest and peacefulness. But more often, we will be working striving, changing. Now, you will have peace in those seasons as well, if you are centered on me and trusting in me. But you will not always be comfortable. 

Sometimes, being uncomfortable is exactly what you need to do the next thing. To move forward. To grow. Be excited about being uncomfortable. It is your signal that things are about to change, and I know how you like change. 

I love you daughter and do not fear. I am in this, I am in you, we are right on track.
