The wave...

My prayer:

Mmmmmmmmmm. Yes God. You and me right here and right now. That is everything to me. You and me in this moment. The world swirls around with its problems and its challenges. But for this moment, I sit with you in the eye of the storm, at peace and in love with you.

What God Said Tonight:

A wave is coming that will carry you forward. A wave of love, a wave of purpose. I have you perfectly positioned to be picked up in the wave when it comes. I have you prepared to ride the wave when it comes. I have you unburdened for the wave when it comes. 

It is you and me, now and forever. I am in you. Remember that you don't have to find me, I am found. You don't have to conger me out of thin air. I am in you. I live and dwell in you. I love you more than you can know. 

Art of God...

My prayer:

God, I love the people you have put in my life! At work, family, friends, everybody. You have surrounded me with truly excellent people and I am very grateful. It makes life a lot more fun to live it with people who are awesome. Some of the greatest blessings you have given me have been the people you have put in my life. Feeling mighty blessed!

What God Said Tonight:

Each person is like a piece of art. They are all made of similar but different mediums. They all look different and even have different intents, but they are all beautiful. Maybe not to all people all of the time, but they are all beautiful. 

 

Uncomfortable...

My prayer:

Off. Everything just feels about 5 degrees left of center God. Nothing horrible, just not quite right. It is uncomfortable. I am itching for the next new thing, that is for sure. But this seems different. Something is off.  

God, I ask for wisdom. Help me to understand what is going on and what, if anything I should do. Thanks for always letting me bring you anything, no matter how vague or how weird. LOVE YOU!

What God Said Tonight:

I am in you and you are in me. Everything else is just details. 

Nothing is really off. You are only preparing to move, to change. You are sensing that things are not going to stay as they are and part of you is already ready. 

I didn't really create you to be comfortable all the time. Yes, we have seasons of rest and peacefulness. But more often, we will be working striving, changing. Now, you will have peace in those seasons as well, if you are centered on me and trusting in me. But you will not always be comfortable. 

Sometimes, being uncomfortable is exactly what you need to do the next thing. To move forward. To grow. Be excited about being uncomfortable. It is your signal that things are about to change, and I know how you like change. 

I love you daughter and do not fear. I am in this, I am in you, we are right on track.

God never leaves...

My prayer:

Hi wonderful God! Today was an interesting mix of mini challenges. Thank you for the moments of joy and blessing. Thank you for the kind words spoken to me today. Thank you for the young boy who went out of his way to hold open a door for me today. Thank you for the million little things that let me know that you think I am special. Thank you God that you gave me the eyes to see the little blessings. Thank you for showing me your love in the little things today.

What God Said Tonight:

I am with you always. I tell you that a lot but I need you to remember it. 

I am with you in the big events of life and I am with you in the quiet silences of life. I am with you in joy and in pain. I am with you in every circumstance. 

I don't leave when it is hard and I don't leave when you get angry. I don't leave when you sin. I don't leave when you forget me. I don't leave you. 

I love when you focus on me and strive to know me better. But I am here whether you strive or not. Rest in me tonight and know my love will never leave you.

The path to greatness...

My prayer:

Absolutely nothing profound on my mind tonight God but I want to hang out with you, hear what you have to say. I love you and I love your voice, your words.

What God Said Tonight:

I have started many great things that when they started, no one realized they were great. There are many things in your everyday life that seem insignificant to you now but will become the starting point of greatness. There are other things that you think are so important right now, but you will later realize that they were not important at all. 

I will lead and guide you if you listen. I already know the end of this. I know how it turns out. Let me guide you through, avoid the land mines, and keep you safe. Trust my timing. Trust my path. It does not always seem right from where you sit and from what you know but in the end, you will see the wisdom in it. 

Hang on daughter. Do not get discouraged. Do not give up. Stick with me and I will being you through. I love you so much. I will not let you down.

Nothing is wasted...

My prayer:

Take me somewhere tonight God. I need a change of scenery. I need to get out of the same old same old, if even just for a few moments. I love you. Take me somewhere with you tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

Where would you like to go? There are so many options. I can take you to the heavens and show you my life there. I can take you to the beginning and show you how it started. I can take you to the end and show you how it ends.

I can take you anywhere and anywhen you want to go; but, we will have to return here. To this place and this time because here is where I need you and now is when I need you here.

I do not waste moments and I do not waste lives. Those of you who give you life to me, I take that as a very serious responsibility. I keep it safe and well cared for because of who I am. 

Rest...

My prayer:

We made it God. There were several times this week that I was not sure I would, but here we are Friday night, in one piece and generally in my right mind! 

Thanks for bringing me through another tough week. I enjoyed the challenges. It definitely was NOT boring! 

Love you God and can't wait to hear your voice tonight.

What God Said Tonight:

I have really only one job for you for the next twenty four hours. Rest. Rest in me. Dwell with me. But rest. 

I need you full, not empty. I need you fueled and ready.

 For right now, just rest. I love you. I have so much for you. When you are drained and empty, I can't get to you everything I need to. 

Rest in my love. rest in my peace. Rest in the assurance that I am taking care of everything. I love you, go and rest.
