God's promises...

My prayer:

Thank you God for a wonderful day. Thank you for the opportunities to serve you and your people. Thank you for healing and comforting so many people today who needed you. Thank you for the help and wisdom about my car. Thank you for fixing my dryer. Wow! You were busy today!

Amazing God, I pray and hope that I NEVER forget that you can take care of EVERYTHING no matter how big or how small! Thank you for being a God that is big enough to take care of the major events but loving enough to take care of the daily annoyances. 

You are so wonderful and I am so grateful for you in my life!!!!!!!!!

What God Said Tonight:

I am good to fulfill my promises. You can take my promises to the bank. You can count on them. 

When I promise to take care of you, I will take care of you. When I promise to provide for you, I will provide for you. When I promise to give you the desires of your heart, I will give you the desires of your heart. 

I don't make promises to get your hopes up and dash them. I give you promises so you can plan your life, focus on me and let me take care of the rest. 

I will work all things to the good of those that love me and are called according to my purpose. That is a promise and I will not be found to be a liar. EVER.

Relationship...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I can't think of anything worthy to talk about tonight, but I always want to hear what you have to say. That is all that really matters anyway. What is on your mind? How was your day?

What God Said Tonight:

You said one true thing there. There is only one thing that matters in this life and that is our relationship. As long as our relationship is good, everything else will work out. 

When our relationship is good, you are loving and caring with other people. When our relationship is good, you are fully provided for in every area of your life. When our relationship is good, you are growing and maturing in your walk. When our relationship is good, everything else is good too. 

So, you are right when you say the only important thing is me but more specifically, the only important thing is our relationship. Me and you together. It is the relationships with my children that matter. That is the only thing that really matters. It is the well that all else springs from. It is the root of all good things. 

I love you daughter. Rest for tomorrow is nearly here.

Fear flees...

My prayer:

Mighty and all powerful God. I am fighting with fear tonight. You know that is unusual for me but it has been creeping up. Mainly fear of everything just going completely wrong. I don't really know where it is coming from. You have not given me a spirit of fear, so it is not from you. But there it is and I hate it. 

God, I lay the fear at your feet and I chose to walk in faith. I choose to remember and believe that no matter what happens, you will work it out for my good. Help me to stay in faith and out of fear please God.

What God Said Tonight:

Your fear is related to feeling like you are not in control. When you finally can give up that wrong belief that if you are in control, you can make everything ok and if you are not in control, everything will fail, if you can give that up, you can learn to trust me at a new level. You can learn that me being in control is the only real way to be sure that everything will work out. 

Let go tonight my daughter and you will see the fear flee. When you remember that I am in charge, I am in control, fear cannot stand in the face of me. It always runs away and hides. That is what fear does, it runs in the face of power. It grows in the environment of doubt but it flees in the environment of faith. 

I love you daughter and I have this covered.

My prayer:

Incredible God. You are so wonderful. I love how you are there for me no matter what. No matter what the issue, you show up and take care of things. 

Thank you so much for working out my meeting this morning. That could have gone really badly and I asked for your help and it went wonderfully. 

Why do you treat me so good? I certainly don't deserve it. I am very grateful but I know I don't deserve all of the grace, mercy and favor you show me. I know you are probably going to say it is because you love me, but why do you love me? I am not sure I love me all the time so how can you? Anyway, thank you again. You are wonderful and I love you very much.

What God Said Tonight:

I know it is hard for you to understand. I bless you because you are mine. I know you want to understand why I bless you because you think if you understand it, you can get more blessings in the future. It does not work that way. I bless you because you are mine. 

The only real qualification you need is to belong to me. I will always find a way to bless you when you belong to me. It may not always be in the way you want right at that minute. I do need to teach you and help you become all that you can be. But, I will always find a way to bless you. 

I spend a lot of effort seeking out ways to bless you. You know how at Christmas or for someone's birthday, you spend a lot of time and effort to find that "just perfect" gift? I am doing that for you all of the time. My reward is you grateful receipt and the joy it brings you. I love you daughter. You are blessed.

A life of joy...

My prayer:

Today was SO WONDERFUL GOD!! THANK YOU!!! It wasn't that anything great or anything horrible happened. There was great, good, neutral, and bad things that happened today. But all day long you gave me joy, energy, and a hope. That is what made today so fantastic! 

I would like to have many more days like this one God.

What God Said Tonight:

You can have as many days like today as you want. Your joy was dependent on me and not the circumstances and that is yours forever. My joy is yours forever. My love is yours forever. My peace is yours forever. Forever and always I am yours. 

You only have to reach out to me. You only have to plug into me and I will give you joy, peace, love all the days of your life. 

Worry is worthless...

My prayer:

You, my awesome God, work EVERYTHING out! Two nights ago I was stressing out, not sure how I was going to get everything done and you just completely moved things around, no effort on my part, and now there is plenty of time. THANK YOU! 

I love that you know the end at the beginning and I love that when I trust you to guide my steps, everything happens in its right time. 

I pray God that you continue to lead and guide me and that you, in your infinite wisdom, show me each thing that I need to do as I need to do it so I am as effective as possible in getting done the things that you have for me to do. Your faithful servant.

What God Said Tonight:

Worry  is such a waste of time and energy. All worry is worthless and only prayer and trust in me will move those mountains. That's the only way to ensure that you get to the destination. Otherwise, worry will hijack your future if you let it. You and me forever my daughter!

Crazy stuff...

My prayer:

What if we lived our entire lives as if we believed that the Bible is completely true? What if we believed you when you said, after doing countless miracles, that we would do even greater things than what you had done. What if we were to really believe that ALL things are possible through Christ  What if...? What if we believed that we could tell a mountain to move and it would move? 

What would this life be like if we, your kids, could really believe and get a hold of your word and believe it to be completely true? I am not sure, but I want to find out!

God, help me to believe that every word of your promise is true, even the crazy stuff. God, I pray for the faith to believe for the crazy stuff! Thank you Jesus!!

What God Said Tonight:

Careful what you ask for my daughter. Are you ready for the crazy stuff? I know you are but you need to now it too because I will show you crazy stuff. 

The world of the Spirit does not make sense in the world of the physical. When those two worlds combine, anything can happen. 

I am the creator of all things and are therefore sovereign  Some people picture me as some great and far away God that rules from on high without feeling and without care. That is not who I am. I am God with you. I am God in you. I am right here. I never left you and I never will. 

You belong to me and I will establish you.
