Just beginning...

My prayer:

Mighty God. What's on your mind tonight? I am not really in the mood to talk but always in the mood to listen to you. Love you!

What God Said Tonight:

I haven't yet begun to show you all that you are are capable of through me. You think that you have seen a lot and done a lot and you have. You think that your life has been lived but it hasn't. You have only just begun. 

I have so many more seasons and lives for you yet to experience. I will give you fullness of life. I will give you  many lifetimes of experience. You and I are together for all eternity so we have a lot more time together.

And, I know you need to change. You need to see different options and live out different paths to stay excited. There are unlimited paths for you to explore. I have so much for you. Do not get discouraged thinking things are at an end. You are still in your beginning. Your end is on the other side of eternity. 

I love you and I will see you fulfilled with EVERY DREAM OF YOUR HEART.

Fear, despair, apathy...FAITH

My prayer:

What a wonderful day of rest God! Thank you for the luxury of rest. My mind is wandering tonight for sure. 

I think the one thing that I do want to ask about is this fear vs. despair vs. apathy thing that I am seeing and experiencing. There are so many horrible things happening in the world and because of the internet, we see them all (or a lot of them). And for me, I bounce around from getting afraid, to despairing that there is anything I can do to apathy or avoidance. Then when I am being smart about it, I finally get to the point of faith and trust in you to take care of it all. 

So, what am I asking? I guess I am asking for help getting to that place of faith and trust faster and staying there longer because the other phases are painful and unproductive. I know that is where you want me to live, in the place of faith and trust. Therefore, when I am in fear, despair or apathy, I am out of your will. 

God, I pray that your will be done on earth and in my life as it is in heaven. 

What God Said Tonight:

Faith is a decision. You know that. You have been taught that over and over. 

You can choose to live in faith or you can choose to live in fear. You can choose to ignore what is happening around you or you can choose to trust me to take care of you. You have been given the power and the privilege of choice. 

Never forget the power of choice. It is your primary weapon in this world. Make the right choices and live a blessed life. Not that everything will be perfect. You still live in a world where sin is running rampant and so even when you make every smart choice, there will be those who make poor choices that effect you. But, when you are making the right choices, when you are choosing faith and trust in me, I promise to work it all out in the end for you. 

I will never turn my back on you. 

Set up...

My prayer:

You are so amazing, wonderful, incredible, beyond words, beyond emotion, beyond...everything! I lack the ability to praise you adequately. I am too limited to properly praise the God of all creation. But I will praise you anyway. I can't help it. 

You make everything right. You give me hope. You give me favor. You give me abilities that are not my own. You give me love. You don't just love me, you give me love. It is a gift that you give me, that strengthens me and fills me with joy when I have no reason to be joyful. I LOVE YOU GOD!!

What God Said Tonight:

I have such great things planned for you! I am excited just thinking about it. The heavens are on pins and needles as we get ready to launch into this next season. There is so much, I couldn't tell you all of it because you would get overwhelmed. But believe me, it is wonderful beyond your imagination. 

I am so EXCITED!! You will love it, I promise. 

For right now, enjoy the anticipation. It is part of the experience and part of the preparation. You are in the right place, at the right time, with the right preparation...that is a set up for something WONDERFUL!

My prayer:

Thank you thank you thank you thank you God for rebuking the devourer in my life!!! The way you protected me last night from the scam was amazing. I really believed that email was from "P" and that she had been robbed in the Philipinnes. But you knew better, you blocked the transaction, you had "L" call me to make me think twice about whether it was real and you showed me how to uncover the truth. YOU ARE AWESOME!! Thank you!!!

What God Said Tonight:

I take care of my children. It is what a Father does. I love you and I will not see you taken advantage of, especially for having a giving heart. 

I will protect you, always. I will teach you, always. I will love you, always. I am a forever God and you and me are for always. You are precious and safe in my arms, always.

Sandwiches...

My prayer:

What a difference a day and an act of obedience makes God! It was awesome to be back in your will today! It was super busy but everything was flowing again. 

Thank you for pointing out where I got off track and thank you for getting me back on track! Thank you for never giving up on me. Thank you for always giving me another chance to get it right. You are more wonderful than I can say. What is on your mind tonight?

What God Said Tonight:

Life is like a sandwich. The stuff on the inside gives the sandwich its flavor and makes it specific. The bread surrounds every sandwich and gives it its identity as a sandwich. 

Jesus is the bread of life and he surrounds you and all of my children. It is what gives you your identity as a child of God. But inside the bread, you are all different and wonderful in your own way. 

Appreciate the similarity that identifies you as mine while appreciating the differences that give you flavor. I love you now and forever.

Wonderful 2013...

My prayer:

Awesome God. I am ready! I am ready for a new year. I am ready for change. I am ready for whatever you want to do next! I love you God and I trust you completely. Guide me, teach me, show me where you want me and my answer will always be "yes!"

What God Said Tonight:

I have some pretty wonderful plans for you this year. Promises fulfilled. New challenges. New friends. New miracles, well new to you. I am excited about where you are headed. 

My plan for your  life has not changed but we are entering a new season that will be wonderful. Wonderful for you and wonderful for the people around you. 

Sow your seed in this season. It will produce a mighty harvest. Everything you sow will be multiplied 100 fold.  Sow time, skills, finances, give and I will give it back to you multiplied.

My prayer:

What a year God. So much good and so much evil. I normally really appreciate the end of the year and new year's day as a day of reflection, a time for a new start. 

I am ready for a new start. I am ready for a fresh view of things. I am ready to look on and think on good things again. I am tired of seeing only the evil and the wrong as I have been these last few weeks. 

God, I pray that 2013 be a year of new beginnings and of hope. I ask that you help me to look forward and not look back. I pray that you make me a better person this year than last. I pray God that this be a year of your miracles being seen repeatedly in lives all around me. Financial miracles, healing miracles, deliverance miracles, creative miracles, anything that you want to do God, I am ready. Thank you for being my Lord. I am all yours God, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

I have a new season for you my daughter  The old things have passed away and behold a new season, a new time is here. 

This last year was about growth and about building. This next year is going to be about new things. New experiences, new opportunities, new knowledge, new...everything. I am going to show you a new thing this year. And it will be good. 

You haven't had enough new things in your life lately but hat is about to change. Everything is about to change. But don't be afraid, it is all change for your good. Everything will work together for your good and the good of those around you. 

I love you daughter. Get ready for a NEW year.
