Woven vs. tangled...

My prayer:

It is really good to be with you here tonight God. My home is in your presence. My peace is found in your presence. My joy is driven by your presence. 

I am grateful for all of the new beginnings you are bringing in my life right now. It was pretty stressful there for a while but I have settled into a place of trust and peace and I honestly have no doubts that you are working everything out. 

Keep guiding me on anything I need to do, or not do. I don't want to get in the way either by doing things that are not needed or not doing things that are needed. 

I am yours God, now and forever.

What God Said Tonight:

Those things that seem tangled up and a mess are not actually tangled, they are being woven to create a stronger future. It is in the process of weaving strands together that they become more. More useful, stronger, to do things they could not do n their own. 

I am weaving strands of your life together into a tapestry that will be strong and able to accomplish much more than a few stray strands can accomplish on their own. 

I love you now and forever. 

Results and resolution...

My prayer:

I know what I need to do but I need your help in how to do it God. I am having a really hard time imagining any way for there to be a positive outcome. That is usually my forte. I am usually the one people come to when they have a difficult conversation or communication that they need to have, but this time, I am stumped. 

I pray for wisdom, guidance, favor, and help to do this thing in love and in the way that you would have me do it.

What God Said Tonight:

The results and the resolution are not your responsibility. Your responsibility is to do the most loving thing you can and to be wise enough to know what that is. 

I will help you, of course. Also remember that it is in my hands, you have put it there, and I will take responsibility for the outcomes. I have a chance to heal here and I want you to be a part of it, just not in the way you are accustomed to being a part of it. 

This new season, as we have discussed, needs to be fresh and free of the baggage you have been carrying, free of the worry over things that were never meant to be your responsibility. 

I love you and I will help you.

Joy and peace...

My prayer:

Watching you work in my life is pretty amazing God. I am so excited to see how you work this all out. Thank you for the opportunity to be a blessing tonight. Thank you for the courage to step into the opportunity. Thank you for being you and taking care of me!

What God Said Tonight:

Every day is one more opportunity to find joy and peace. The day has moments of goodness and moments of sorrow. In the midst of it all, find your way to my peace, my joy, and find a way to embrace those things. 

It is my peace and my joy which will get you through the rest. 

I am your armor and a safe passage through the gauntlet of life. I am your protector and your guide. I am your ever present help. I will never let you down. 

Thank you for trusting me even when it does not look good. You will never regret trusting me. That is my promise.

Stop hanging on...

My prayer:

Thank you for your peace today God. Help me to live each day, in your will, and in your peace. That is it really. You already know all the many needs and you have already told me that you are taking care of it all. So, I am grateful and living in your peace.

What God Said Tonight:

Hanging on to a crumbling ledge is never a good idea. I will work in your life and I will strengthen those things in my path for you and I will let the other things die. Don't let your self hang onto something that is dying or dead. It will never lead you to the future I have for you. 

Let go of the crumbling ledge and let your feet fall on solid ground. Let go and let God...it is a real thing although it has become a cliche. 

I love you and I am with you always.

Faith and encouragement...

My prayer:

God, here is the thing. I believe you are working in my life. I believe you are working everything out for my good. But this is all SO COMPLICATED, I am completely lost as to how and what you are going to do. 

I think that is the point. If I could figure out what you are doing, being me, I would probably try to help, which you clearly do not want or need. 

So, I get it that I am not supposed to get it, but that is SO HARD!! It is making me a little crazy. 

I pray for your help in this season to find your peace while you work it all out.

What God Said Tonight:

Not everyone is capable of a life of faith. But some are and those I will grow in their faith. 

Faith is what keeps you strong in the middle of the battle that I am fighting. It holds you up and let's you know who will win. Faith is the substance of things hoped for. It is your hopes made real. 

Your faith will manifest in great dreams and I will see to it.

You need encouragement tonight, I am here for your encouragement. I am still in charge and I will not let you down. Know me and who I am, who I love, and what I do for those I love. Remember. You have read about it but more importantly you have experienced it, 

This is one more path to follow, it is just a rocky one, I love you and I will not fail you. I cannot fail. 

Old baggage...

My prayer:

I don't have anything important to talk about, I have been talking to you all day. I think I need to take a minute to get quiet and listen now.

I love you Father.

What God Said Tonight:

Each day brings you one step closer tot he future I have planned for you. Your next season, the one that comes after this season of trust and waiting, is going to be so much fun. I have so many blessings planned and waiting for you. 

Time to clean out the old to make room for the new. I will provide those opportunities, don't miss them. You do not want to take old baggage into your new season. Throw it out on the curb and walk into this season light and unfettered. 

I love you my sweet child, now and forever.

Trust and love...

My prayer:

My mind is racing all over tonight God. I am pretty excited about what you are putting together. There was a bit of a black moment today that I don't really know what to do with, but in everything, I will trust you. That has been your solid message for a while now so I don't even have to ask what to do. I will trust you in all things. 

Help me to be strong on this journey. Let me know when/if I need to do anything. Thank you Father.

What God Said Tonight:

Remember to love. When you don't know what to do and it calls for action, love. When people take out their issues on you, reach into your heart to find the compassion I have placed in you. 

No one hurts people because their lives are going well. People hurt people when they themselves are hurt.The remedy is to find a way to love. 

I will work out the details. I will open doors that need to be opened and close doors that need to be closed. In the middle of it all, you trust me and love those around you. 

I love you and let that love multiply into the lives around you. Now and forever my love.
