Fertile ground...

My prayer:

Finding a place of joy no matter the circumstances around me, that is a true and profound blessing God. Thank you for showing me joy in the midst of the storm today. Living life with you, there are always little jewels of joy in the most unexpected places.

What God Said Tonight:

I have found fertile and lush ground to sow my Word into. It is ground that is already producing. My Word will take root in this ground and grow in a way that has not been seen before. 

The ground has proven itself. My Word has proven itself. Together they will be amazing.

No shame...

My prayer:

Praying for peace. Praying for favor. Praying for healing. Praying for us all.

What God Said Tonight:

You come to me, bowed down, covered in your spotted cloak. You approach me with fear and reverence. That would have been necessary before I brought you my son. That approach was needed before you were redeemed. 

Now, in your redeemed and restored state, you can approach me with confidence. You can approach me with your head held high, uncovered and whole. You can approach me as a beloved child or a much loved spouse. 

You can approach me, anytime and anywhere. I am always ready for you. I am always eager to see you. My love for you has overwhelmed everything else. 

I loved you to much to see you covered in shame. Do not put on that cloak of shame again. You do not need it. It is no longer yours.

Recognizing God's love...

My prayer:

Today I saw a glimpse of what your amazing core healing that you have shown me over the last several years, could possibly do for someone else. As much as I have loved the wholeness and freedom that you have brought me to, this is the day I have been waiting for. The day when I think I am going to be able to see you heal someone I love so deeply at their very core. 

God, I want your core healing for everyone. Can you imagine what a world this would be if we were all healed and whole? If no one in the world felt the need to protect themselves by hurting someone else? If everyone saw themselves as you see them, beautiful, restored and whole? My mind nearly explodes with the mere concept of it. It would be so amazing! 

Maybe that is what the new heaven and the new earth is all about? If we are all whole, redeemed and healed...WOW! Thank you Jesus.

What God Said Tonight:

There is a rhythm and a timing to my will. I am not rushed. I know the timing of every last thing in this world. I am not frantic. I know when and where each thing needs to happen. I am not worried. My plan has not changed. 

I am excited. I am expectant. I am on the edge of my seat waiting for the next season. 

The glory, my glory is coming and will be seen around the world. My presence will fall heavily on this world. Those who know me will experience my presence as the intense love that I have for them. Those who don't know me will feel very uncomfortable. It will still be my love but they will not know it, they will think they do not deserve it they may even try to run from it. 

Tell people about my love. Help them. Even if they don't receive it now, maybe your description will help them recognize it when I come. There will be those who come to me in those days. They will be the ones who can recognize me through what they have been told, even if they can't recognize me for themselves.

Water in the river...

My prayer:

I see you working things together God. I see you arranging things that I could not have imagined. 

I LOVE WHEN YOU DO THAT!!! 

It is so amazing and humbling to watch you create a plan and execute it so perfectly. I love to watch you work. Thank you for letting me be a part of your plans God!

What God Said Tonight:

My will for you is like water in a river. It flows and ebbs. Sometimes it stays around in a lake for awhile. Those are times of rest and community. Then, when it is time, I move you down the river.

Your life is meant to be lived in motion. Some lives are meant to be lived in stasis. Your life is meant to be lived in motion. 

You next new thing is around the corner and you are going to love it.

Neighbors...

My prayer:

I really have nothing to say tonight God but I want to hear your sweet voice before I go to sleep. Speak to me Lord?

What God Said Tonight:

Your neighbors across the way are very interested in you. They watch to see what you are doing and where you are going. Your neighbors are watching. 

You may be the only child of mine they see. Make sure that thy see me in you. If all they see is the person, why would they ever want to know me. If all they see is you with the same struggles as they have. 

The benefits of my son-ship are vast but if people do not see those benefits reflected in you, they will never find me. 

I love you. We will talk more later.

Broken glass...

My prayer: 

I feel a change coming God and I am SO READY!! Thank you for change. Thank you for the encouragement throughout this day. Thank you for being mine. I love you.

What God Said Tonight:

Broken glass can be seen in several different ways. It can be seen as trash. It can be seen as dangerous. It can be seen as art. It is all the same glass but depending on who is looking at it and their intention, it can take on very different meanings. 

Life is like that too. The circumstances in your life can be seen as trash that you need to throw away as soon as possible. They can be seen as dangerous. Or, they can be seen as the art of your life., The things that make your life beautiful. 

What makes the difference is not so much the circumstances but how you choose to see them and what you do with them. Living a life filled with art is a lot more fun than living a life of scary trash.

Faith...

My prayer:

Today was definitely different than I thought it was going to be! I am still not sure if it was a good day or a bad day. Thank you for being with me and turning a really rotten situation into a less rotten situation. I am still holding out for you turning it fully to my good but today was a nice start. 

I pray for my friend and for his complete healing. This latest report regarding the brain lesion needs to be reversed, removed and rebuked. God I pray your complete healing in him. I leave him firmly in your hands trusting you to take care of him (and me).

What God Said Tonight:

Faith is an interesting and misunderstood thing. Faith is more than belief and it is less than reality. Faith is the assurance of things hoped for. It is not the promise. It is not the evidence. It is the assurance. 

Faith comes by hearing and hearing the word of God. Why? It should be pretty obvious. The more you are told of a thing, the more you are assured of that thing. Be it healing power, financial provision, whatever. 

Your faith has made you well is something that I said a lot on earth. How can the assurance of a thing make it become reality? It is your acting upon that faith, that assurance. Once you act upon it, believing it, your faith makes the difference. Someone can be healed of an infirmity that has kept them in a wheel chair for years but until he gets up out of the wheelchair, the miracle is present but evident. 

Faith and acting on that faith makes the miracle evident. Put your faith in me.
